Raptee.HV has launched its first electric motorcycle called the T30. It is priced at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom) and is available in four colour options: Horizon Red, Arctic White, Mercury Grey, and Eclipse Black.
The T30 gets some sharp design lines and clean panel layouts. It gets a 5.4kWh capacity battery pack with a claimed real world range of 150km. The motor’s peak power output is 22kW and the EV maker claims that the bike can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 135kmph. The electric bike is compatible to be charged in CCS2 (Combined Charging System) charging stations which are mainly used for electric cars. Raptee.HV also claims that it takes an hour to charge the bike from 0-80%.
The suspension setup consists of an inverted fork and a preload adjustable monoshock while braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS available as standard. The Raptee.HV T30 gets a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, call and SMS alerts and the console shows speedometer, odometer, trip meter, clock, range, and other regular readouts. It also shows you the nearest charging stations when the battery percentage dips below a certain set limit. The bike gets three riding modes: Comfort, Power, and Sprint.
Raptee.HV is offering a battery warranty of 8 years for the T30. Bookings are open for a fee of Rs 1,000 and deliveries will start in January 2025 in Chennai and Bengaluru. At the Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom) price point, the electric bike has no direct rivals. But alternative electric bikes available on the market include the Ultraviolette F77, Revolt RV400 and the Matter Aera.
