TVS Motor Company has launched the 2024 version of the Apache RR 310. Here are all the details:
The TVS Apache RR 310 has been launched at Rs 2,75,000 (ex-showroom), making it Rs 3,000 more expensive than the previous model. It is available in two colour options: Racing Red and Bomber Grey. The bike now gets a bi-directional quickshifter. Here are prices:
|
Colours |
Price (ex-showroom Delhi) |
|
Racing Red (without quickshifter) |
Rs 2,75,000 |
|
Racing Red (with quickshifter) |
Rs 2,92,000 |
|
Bomber Grey |
Rs 2,97,000 |
It rivals the likes of the Keeway K300 R, KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300.

The 2024 model gets winglets attached at the fairing. It will mainly serve an aesthetic purpose as the winglet won’t have much effect on the bike’s performance. It does make it look more aggressive than the previous model. Here are the other changes on the bike -
- 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, reverse-inclined engine now produces 38PS at 9,800rpm and 29Nm at 7900rpm (4PS and 1.7Nm more)
- 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter
- 6-axis IMU with cornering traction control, cruise control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, slope dependent control and rear lift off control
- TVS’ RTDSC feature which is basically traction control
- The bike also gets cruise control
- Winglets attached to the fairing
- Dynamic Kit consists of adjustable front and rear suspension, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a brass coated drive chain and the kit costs an additional Rs 18,000
- The 6-axis IMU is part of the Dynamic Pro Kit which costs an additional Rs 16,000

Other than the aesthetic, engine and feature changes mentioned above, the rest of the bike has remained unchanged. The supersport bike gets four riding modes: Track, Sport, Urban and Rain. The suspension setup consists of an inverted fork and a gas-charged monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by a 300mm front disc brake and a 240mm rear disc brake (petal units at both ends). The RR 310 has a wheelbase of 1365mm, ground clearance of 180mm, seat height of 810mm, kerb weight of 174kg and fuel tank capacity of 11 litres. In terms of features, the bike gets a 5-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

The TVS Apache RR 310 has been left unchanged for a long time now and its rivals have launched more powerful motorcycles with a much more extensive features list in that time period. The addition of features like the quickshifter, 6-axis IMU and the bump in power output has made the Apache RR 310 much better equipped to put up a better fight against the competition. But with the RC 390 producing 43.5PS, from a bigger capacity engine no doubt, the power bump in the RR 310 around the 40PS mark would’ve increased its appeal much more. But, overall, the RR 310 has received much needed upgrades that make it suitable for the current two-wheeler market.
