Quick Highlights
Unofficial bookings for the Aprilia Tuono 457 have begun
Customers can book the bike for Rs 10,000 via dealerships
It will be launched by the end of January 2025
Unofficial bookings for the upcoming Aprilia Tuono 457 have begun in select dealerships across the country. Customers who are interested in getting the Tuono 457 can pre-book the bike for a fee of Rs 10,000.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is the streetfighter sibling of the Aprilia RS 457, It also features a few design and styling changes that makes it stand out compared to the other bikes in the Aprilia Tuono lineup. For starters, it doesn’t have the half fairing setup that we have come to associate with the larger Tuonos (660 and 1100). It instead comes with a dual-LED headlight setup.
While some Aprilia fans weren’t too happy about this departure in the Tuono’s design language when it was first unveiled at EICMA 2024, generally the sentiment around this Tuono 457 remains positive. Riders who found the RS 457’s riding posture a bit too aggressive for everyday riding are sure to appreciate this baby Tuono’s upright ergonomics

Other than these changes, the bike shares a lot of similarities with the Aprilia RS 457. It is powered by the same 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine which outputs 47.6PS and 43.5Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch.
It shares the same underpinnings as the RS 457, including an 41mm inverted fork and monoshock suspension setup. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking duties will be handled by 320mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

The bike has the same 5-inch TFT console as the RS 457 and it offers the same set of electronic riding aids. It includes 3 riding modes: Rain, Eco and Sport which modulate the bike’s power delivery. There is also a 3 level traction control system on offer. The bike offers the option to turn off traction control as well.
The bike will be launched in India by the end of January 2025, with an expected price around Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will likely commence from February 2025 according to dealership sources. The Tuono 457 will go up against other bikes in the 400cc segment such as the KTM 390 Duke, which, for perspective, comes at a price of Rs 3,13,136 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
