2024 Mahindra Thar ROXX 5 Door Interior And Features Teased For First Time

Mahindra is all set to launch the Thar ROXX on August 15. It is the 5-door version of the Thar, but will be a more premium offering. Earlier, Mahindra had revealed the exterior of the upcoming Thar ROXX, but the latest teaser has now given us a look at the interior. Even though the entire cabin was not shown, the top features that will be available were shown in the video. Let’s take look at what’s new: 

Mahindra Thar ROXX: Interior 

For starters, the Mahindra Thar ROXX will be getting beige-coloured seats and a beige roof liner, which looks upmarket, but will be difficult to maintain, especially if you take it off-road.The black dashboard gets soft touch finish with copper coloured stitching, completing the premium look of the cabin.

But the main talking point is the sheer number of features, which include the large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.25-inch digital driver’s display borrowed from other Mahindra cars. We could also see a single-zone automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon audio system and ventilated front seats to dial up the comfort of the cabin. 

As seen earlier, and in this teaser as well, the Thar ROXX will be getting a panoramic sunroof. The mid-spec variants will come with a single-pane sunroof. The option of both sunroofs  satisfies and caters to the needs of all types of buyers.  

Mahindra Thar ROXX: Features

Apart from the aforementioned features, the Thar ROXX should be equipped with a 360-degree camera, a wireless phone charger, keyless entry, cruise control, 6 airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-ascent control, front and rear parking sensors, and ADAS. 

Mahindra Thar ROXX: Powertrain

The Mahindra Thar ROXX will likely be powered by a 150 PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and a 132 PS 2.2-litre diesel, but with more power. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual and an automatic transmission. As seen on the Thar 3-door, both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options will be available with the Thar ROXX.

Mahindra Thar ROXX: Price And Rivals

The upcoming 5 Door Mahindra Thar ROXX will likely be priced from around Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the Force Gurkha 5-door, while being a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
