The much anticipated Tata Curvv EV has been revealed in full and prices start from Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). If you’re keen on getting one, you’ll be glad to know that official bookings are set to open from August 12. Not all powertrain options of the Tata Curvv EV will be available in all variants. In this report, we will give a quick rundown of the variant-wise powertrain options of the Tata Curvv EV.
The Tata Curvv EV, like other Tata electric cars, comes in two powertrain options (45 and 55). It will be available in three broad trims: Creative, Accomplished and Empowered. The Tata Curvv EV 45 is available in all variants except the top-spec Empowered+ and Empowered+ A.
On the other hand, the more powerful Curvv EV 55 can be had in almost all variants except the base model.
The Accomplished and Accomplished+ S variants of the Curvv offer both the powertrain options.
The Tata Curvv EV sits on the carmaker’s Acti.ev made specifically for its electric cars. It comes in two different powertrain options with varying power outputs and battery packs. The Curvv EV also supports fast charging capabilities, topping up from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes using a 70 kW fast charger.
