Tata Curvv Dark and Curvv EV Dark Edition launched, prices range between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
Offered in Accomplished S and Accomplished +A variants of the Curvv, and Empowered +A variant of the Curvv EV.
Curvv Dark Edition engine options include 125 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and 115 PS 1.5-litre diesel powertrain, while the Curvv EV Dark Edition is offered with a 55 kWh battery pack.
Feature highlights include, 12.3-inch infotainment, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and 9-speaker JBL sound system.
Curvv Dark Edition rivals Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, Honda Elevate Signature Black Edition, and MG Astor Blackstorm.
Tata Motors has rolled out the Curvv Dark and Curvv EV Dark Edition, priced from Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Like other Dark Edition offerings from the brand, both SUV-Coupe models feature an all-black theme on both the exterior and interior. Available in top-spec variants, Accomplished S and Accomplished +A for the Curvv, and Empowered +A for the Curvv EV, both carry forward host of premium features. Over the pricing of respective standard variants, the Curvv Dark commands a premium of up to Rs 32,000.

The Curvv EV Dark Edition carries a price premium of Rs 25,000 over the Empowered +A variant of the standard Curvv EV.
Design-wise, both the Dark Edition models add a bold touch to the Curvv’s already sporty stance. They feature an all-black exterior with blacked-out bumpers, darkened badges, and dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, creating a striking contrast against its stealthy look. Enhancing their distinct identity are “#Dark” badges placed on the front fenders. While both embrace this shadowy theme, the overall design remains unchanged from the standard Curvv, with connected LED tail lamps at the rear and a roof-mounted spoiler adding another sporty element.
Inside, both the Curvv Dark and Curvv EV Dark Edition retain their familiar layout of the standard model but get a significant visual upgrade with an all-black theme. The dashboard, centre console, and door trims are finished in black, enhancing their sporty appeal. Tata has also equipped both models with black leatherette seat upholstery featuring ‘Dark’ badging on the headrests. The cabin is further accentuated with piano black elements, while blue ambient lighting adds a stylish contrast to the interior.
Common features between the Curvv Dark and Curvv EV Dark include, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, ventilated front-row seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, connected car tech, and 9-speaker JBL sound system.
On the safety front, both feature 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake, and level-2 ADAS.
You can configure the Curvv Dark Edition with either the 1.2-litre GDi turbo-petrol engine or the 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former produces 125 PS and 225 Nm, while the latter puts out 118 PS and 260 Nm. Transmission options for both engine options include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
On the other hand, the Curvv EV Dark Edition is available with the larger 55 kWh battery pack that is paired to 167 PS/ 215 Nm single electric motor setup, delivering a claimed range of up to 502 km.
The Curvv Dark Edition locks horns with the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, Honda Elevate Signature Black Edition, MG Astor Blackstorm, while also rivalling the likes of the Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
While the Curvv EV Dark Edition takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.
Both the Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Edition, with their all-black styling, brings a fresh choice for buyers. Although the Curvv Dark Edition is only available in its top-spec trims, it still offers two powertrain options seen with the standard model. While you can have the Curvv EV in its larger 55 kWh battery pack only.
