The much-anticipated Hyundai Creta Electric has been launched at an introductory starting price of Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom) at the Auto Expo 2025. The EV version of the Creta will be available in four different variants and 10 colour options to choose from. It comes with a feature-rich cabin with a blend of convenience and safety features. You get two battery pack options and a claimed range of up to 473 km.

The optional 11kW AC charger costs an additional Rs 73,000.
Up front, the Creta Electric gets familiar connected LED DRLs and vertical LED headlamps. It gets a newly designed closed-off grille and the Hyundai logo opens up for you to access the charging port of the SUV. The bumper design is different from the standard Creta and it also gets active air flaps to cool important components.
In profile, you get 17-inch alloy wheels with aero elements which sets it apart from the standard Creta. However, the silhouette of the electric iteration is identical to that of the combustion-powered version. You also get roof rails to further accentuate the SUV stance.
From the rear, there is a touch of sportiness thanks to the shark fin antenna and roof-mounted spoiler. You get connected LED tail lights that are identical to the standard Creta. Furthermore, you get a silver skid plate which adds a bit of contrast and the bumper has been slightly redesigned to give the Creta electric its own identity.

The Creta Electric’s cabin features a dualtone Granite Grey and Dark Navy theme and its dashboard design is similar to that of the ICE-powered Creta. It features dual displays, one each for the infotainment system and digital driver display. The electric iteration gets a new design for the steering wheel and has the gear mode selector placed behind the steering wheel, similar to how it is in the Ioniq 5. It also gets a new floating lower centre console with open storage and tastefully curated blue ambient lighting surrounding it.
The Creta Electric is loaded to the brim with convenience and safety features. It boasts amenities such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, 8-speaker Bose sound system, boss mode function, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger and dual-zone climate control.
In terms of safety, it gets 6 airbags as standard, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, a tyre pressure monitoring system and level-2 ADAS.
