The Indian electric two-wheeler space finally has an outright performance-oriented bike. More than three years after it was first unveiled, Ultraviolette Automotive has finally launched the F77 in India. Here’s everything you need to know about India’s fastest electric bike:
Prices for the F77 start at Rs 3.8 lakh, while the higher-spec Recon will cost you Rs 4.55 lakh. While it doesn’t have any direct electric rivals, it goes up against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in terms of price. In terms of performance, it is on par with 300cc bikes like the TVS Apache RR 310 and the BMW G 310 R.

The Ultraviolette F77 is available in two variants: Standard and Recon. Differences in the two variants are with respect to battery capacities and the range on offer. Ultraviolette also offers a limited edition of the bike, of which only 77 units will be made.

Futuristic styling; the smooshed-in headlamp with a chunky LED DRL creates its signature look and the bike carries a KTM RC-esque vibe.
Its TFT console offers three riding modes (Glide, Combat & Ballistic), smartphone connectivity, traction control, three-levels of regenerative braking & more
Gets disc brakes at both ends along with dual-channel ABS
Inverted fork and monoshock suspension setup.
The Ultraviolette F77 is a pricey proposition, one that only serious early adopters should consider. Even the base variant of the bike commands a hefty price tag. Nevertheless, stay tuned to ZigWheels for more as we will be riding the bike soon.
