South Korean automaker Kia recently showcased the 2025 EV6 facelift at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It also opened bookings for the electric crossover with launch slated for March 2025. The facelift brings numerous changes to the EV6 in design, interior, features, and powertrain and here are the specs of the India-bound model.
With the first mid-cycle update, the refreshed EV6 sports a sportier front end, featuring new headlights, a bumper redesign, and sharper triangular daytime running lights. Also on offer are a new set of alloy wheels. The updated EV6 has a marginally increased length as well as reworked front overhang.

On the inside, the interior is largely unchanged except a new curved panel for the displays – a 12.3-inch driver display and a 12.3-inch central information hub. There is also an updated steering wheel and a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

Whether its exterior or interior, the India-bound model is likely to retain all the changes made to the international-spec model.
Kia has upgraded the features of the 2025 EV6 and most of them are expected to make their way to India with the updated model. For example, it now gets digital key 2.0, an augmented reality for navigation, a digital rearview mirror, a new 15 W wireless phone charger, a revised heads-up display, improved over-the-air software updates, remote parking assist 2, additional digital features and services via the Kia Connect Store, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Not only that, there are also two new ADAS functions.

Powering the India-spec EV6 facelift will be a larger 84 kWh battery pack, delivering a maximum claimed range of up to 650 km. With the all-wheel drive configurations thanks to the dual-motor setup, it produces 325 PS and 605 Nm. The electric crossover now gains faster charging speeds up to 258 kW, recharging the battery pack from 10 to 80 percent in a claimed 18 minutes. Notably, using a suitable charging point, the 2025 EV6 can be topped up with a range of 343 km in 15 minutes, as claimed.

Given that it features a wide range of upgrades, albeit subtle, the upcoming 2025 EV6 will likely attract a premium over the outgoing model. Currently, it costs Rs 60.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The EV6 facelift will continue to take on the new BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase, Volvo EX40, Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+, and its cousin the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
