Kia EV6 Facelift Starts Arriving At Dealerships Across India, Here’s A Closer Look In Images!

The Kia EV6 facelift was recently launched on our shores at a price of Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The good news is that just a few days after its launch, the attractive EV has already started reaching Kia dealerships across the country. The EV6 in its new avatar receives necessary design updates, some new features for added convenience and a larger battery pack, which enables a greater claimed range.

Kia EV6 Facelift Design Updates 

The EV6 was already a good-looking EV, and while changes were not really needed, they do make the EV6 look more modern and appealing. The fascia has been changed now, as you get new triangular LED headlights, where the DRLs now extend and connect to each other. It now sports a new design for the 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Tweaked bumpers at both ends further add freshness to the design. 

Kia is offering the EV6 facelift in 5 colours: Aurora Black, Wolf Grey, Snow White Pearl, Runway Red and Yacht Blue Matte.

Kia EV6 Facelift: What’s New Inside?

The EV6’s cabin was always upmarket and plush and didn’t really need a significant upgrade as such. With the facelift, Kia is offering a similar dashboard layout as the pre-facelift model without altering the interior theme. The colour of the seats (black and white) also remains unchanged. 

However, it’s not all copy and paste! The facelift brings in a new 3-spoke steering wheel. Look closely, and you will notice that the dual 12.3-inch screens are now curved in the updated car. 

Kia EV6 Facelift: Features Explained 

The EV6 facelift comes with all the premium features that you would ask for and expect at the price point. The new additions include a heated steering wheel and a fingerprint sensor. All the other features have been carried over from the pre-facelift EV6 model. These include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 64-colour ambient lighting, digital key, connected car tech, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, powered front seats with ventilation, a wireless phone charger and a powered tailgate. 

Safety is taken care of by Level-2 Advanced Driver’s Assistance Systems (ADAS), 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors with 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control (ESC). 

Kia EV6 Facelift Powertrain: Big Upgrade!

The most necessary upgrade has been in the powertrain department! The Kia EV6 facelift is packed with a larger 84 kWh battery pack, a 6.6 kWh increase in size over the previous one’s 77.4 kWh unit. It now only comes with an all-wheel drive system, and its dual electric motors churn out an impressive 325 PS and 605 Nm. Kia EV6 Facelift: Price And Rivals 

The 2025 Kia EV6 facelift retails at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the likes of the Volvo C40 Recharge, BMW i4 and is a more expensive alternative to the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BMW iX1 LWB and BYD Sealion 7. 

The best thing about the facelift is that it brings in a larger battery pack, which offers more range!
