Nearly the same performance, and even more accessible pricing

350cc Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z & Dominar 400 Specs Leak

An online spec sheet leak has just revealed Bajaj’s upcoming sub-350cc engine’s performance figures, and it’s more than just a downsized motor. This will power both the Bajaj Dominar 400 and Pulsar NS400Z. It's a smart re-work aimed at keeping the thrill while playing the new GST 2.0 tax game right.

Smaller Stroke, Similar Performance

Displacement now reads 349.13cc, down some 24-odd-cc from the previous 373cc mill. Bore stays at 89mm, but stroke drops to 56.1mm from 60mm. Output now stands at 40.6PS and 33.2Nm, both made at the same 9,000rpm and 7,500rpm as before – respectively. Expect slightly less low-end grunt, but a potentially livelier top-end feel.

Leaked Spec Sheet

If we take the NS400’s current output figures, it’s just a minor drop of 2.4PS and 1.8Nm from before (43PS and 35Nm). But, interestingly still 0.6PS more than the pre-2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z and current Dominar 400. However, both the bikes will still be called 400s and not badged as 350s.

ZigSays

Dropping under 350cc means a lower GST bracket (from 40% to 18%) and Bajaj is aiming for a sweet spot: nearly the same performance, but more accessible pricing. We think prices will drop by around Rs 25,000 when compared to the current Bajaj Pulsar 400 and Dominar.
