Royal Enfield Hunter 450

As many as six Royal Enfield bikes will be launched in India soon! More about it here. The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450 was spotted testing again, this time giving us the clearest look yet at many of its specs and features. From when it was spied in January and February, we got to know a lot about the alloy wheel design and its sizes, instrument console and much more. A lot of touring-friendly accessories will also be available with the Royal Enfield Hunter 450. 

The styling of the Hunter 450 is similar to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It gets a round headlight and a rounded tank design with flat surfaces on either side, with the Royal Enfield badging probably going to be out there. The rear with the integrated taillight and turn indicators is similar to the Himalayan 450. The raised handlebar and the mid-set footpegs mean that the riding posture will be upright. It is expected to get the same round TFT instrument console found in the Himalayan 450. The upcoming Hunter will come equipped with a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup while braking duties will be taken care of by disc brakes at both ends. 

Differentiating factors aside, the two bikes share the same powertrain. The Himalayan 450’s liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 40PS and 40Nm will also power the Hunter 450 (and the Scram 450), with the tuning expected to be different. 

The Royal Enfield Hunter 450 is expected to bear a price tag of around Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and is likely to be launched by the end of 2024.
