Good scooter but weak body

I have been using Yamaha Alpha for daily city riding and till now it has run around 18,000 km. Mileage I usually get is around 45 kmpl, sometimes a little more on highway and less in traffic. The1scooter is very light and easy to ride, which is good in traffic and for short daily work. Engine is smooth1and reliable and I never faced any major engine problem. Comfort is okay for daily use, seat is decent and1riding posture is relaxed. Recently I met with an accident and that's when the major problem came.1Because the scooter is very lightweight, the front body and plastic parts got badly damaged and almost the1whole front was torn. Original body parts were very costly, so I repaired it using first-copy plastic parts,1otherwise repair cost was too high. After this incident, I feel the body quality is weak and not safe in1accidents. Overall, Yamaha Alpha is fine for daily use and mileage, but body strength and repair cost are a1big downside.

Good scooter for daily use

have a Yamaha Alpha 2018 model and I have been using it for daily city rides. Till now it has covered around 18,000 km. Mileage I usually get is around 40-45 kmpl, depending on traffic and riding style. The scooter is1lightweight and easy to handle, which is helpful in city traffic. Engine performance is smooth and reliable1and I haven't faced any major engine issues till now. Comfort is okay for daily use, but on bad roads1suspension feels average. Recently I met with an accident and the front body and plastic parts got badly1damaged. Because the scooter is very light, the body strength feels weak. Original spare parts were very1expensive, so I had to repair it using first-copy plastic body parts. After this, I feel Yamaha Alpha is good1for mileage and daily use, but body quality and repair cost are the biggest drawbacks, especially in case of1an accident.
