Spotted with a new orange paint scheme

Gets the same wheels and LCD console as the 160 Duke

Expected to launch in India in early 2026
Looks like KTM is back at it again! We spotted the much-anticipated KTM RC 160 testing yet again, and this time around, a few more details have come to light. The RC 160 will be KTM’s most affordable fully-faired bike in India, sitting below the RC 200 and effectively replacing the RC 125 in the brand’s lineup.
What The Latest Spy Shots Reveal
In the latest spy images, the KTM RC 160 can be seen with a new orange paint scheme that looks quite striking and refreshing over the previous white one. The quintessential orange is as KTM as it can get, and KTM fans are sure to love it. The bike shares the same alloy wheels and LCD instrument console as the KTM 160 Duke, the naked sibling it’s based on. While we couldn’t get a clear shot from the front, we can confirm that it features the same LED headlight setup as the KTM RC 200.

Design & Underpinnings
The overall design language is unmistakably KTM: sharp, aerodynamic and track-inspired, mirroring the RC 200’s silhouette to the T. It’s built on a similar platform with a trellis frame, bolt-on subframe, USD fork, monoshock, cast aluminium swingarm, and 17-inch alloys.
Engine & Performance
While KTM hasn’t officially revealed the specifications yet, we expect the RC 160 to pack the same engine as the 160 Duke. The new 164cc motor makes 19PS and 15.5Nm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. That should make it significantly more powerful than the RC 125 (which made 14.5PS and 12Nm), and place it right in the ring with the Yamaha R15 V4 and Hero Karizma XMR.

Expected Price & Launch
KTM is expected to price the RC 160 at around Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a compelling new choice for performance-hungry riders on a budget. The price also makes sense, as the KTM 160 Duke costs Rs 1,70,545 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch could happen in the first quarter of 2026 in India.
All said and done, if KTM nails the pricing, the RC 160 could become the perfect first step into the world of orange. It promises KTM fans the performance, looks, and the attitude - all in a more approachable, pocket-friendly package.
