Segment Winners: Bike of the Year 2010

It was a slightly lukewarm year for motorcyclists, with most manufacturers choosing to stay in the news through variants, and not all new launches. As a result, the list of the our contenders for the 2010 Bike of the Year was sparse, but that did not mean that fight was easy to sort out. We had all-new products like the Honda CB Twister which pushed the envelope in every respect. On the other hand, we had built-for purpose commuters like the Bajaj Discover 150 DTSi, which demonstrated that price-might is still right. The fight to the top for the Bike of the Year award was a closely contested one, with hardly any difference in terms of points between the top three.
