The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 BS6 had reached select dealerships ahead of its official launch and many of them are even accepting unofficial bookings. Now we have received the prices of the new bike and it is a substantial hike over the BS4 Bullet 350. The new Bullet 350 BS6 will cost Rs 1,27,750 for the standard variant and Rs 1,37,190 for the ES (electric start variant) (both ex-showroom Chennai). That is a hike of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 over its respective BS4 variants. According to dealer sources, the Bullet 350 BS6 will be launched in the next couple of weeks. The Bullet 350 BS6 will receive a fuel-injected motor with a catalytic converter to comply with BS6 emission norms. While specs have not yet been revealed, we expect the Bullet 350 BS6 to get the same powertrain as the Classic 350 BS6. That motor delivers 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm. It makes 0.71PS less than the BS4 motorcycle. Other than that it is expected to receive cosmetic updates in the form of new colour schemes.

The underpinnings are the same as the BS4 variant. It continues with the same telescopic fork and twin shock absorber setup with 18-inch spoked wheels at both ends. The front 280mm disc and rear 153mm drum setup with single-channel ABS have been carried over as well.

Not all BS4 Royal Enfields will survive the BS6 emission norms. The Thunderbird 500, Classic 500, and Bullet 500 will be discontinued and could be replaced by the upcoming Meteor
