  • The Superveloce 800 is based on the F3 800.

  • MV Agusta could launch the production version of the motorcycle at the upcoming EICMA.
  • MV Agusta builds some of the most breathtaking machines in the world. The motorcycles which roll out from its production lines are not just meant to be race machines, they are a sight for sore eyes as well. A shining example of the same is the MV Agusta Superveloce 800. First showcased at the 2018 EICMA in concept form, this beauty is now all set to be launched next year.

The Italian bike maker chose the 70’s era as its design theme and fused it with the design language of the standard F3 800. Even though it's based on the F3 800, it gets major aesthetical changes. For starters, it gets new fairings, a restyled front end, new alloy wheels and a new seat. But the 70’s-inspired headlamp has to be the eye-catcher here. Also, the headlamp cover and the windscreen are painted in yellow!

Mechanically, it remains almost identical to the standard F3 800. The three-cylinder, four-stroke 798cc mill churns out 110PS of power and 83Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. However, we expect MV Agusta to tune the engine to produce slightly more power. We have done a detailed report on the Superveloce 800, which you can read here.

Last year, MV Agusta had confirmed that it will begin the production process by the end of 2019, so expect the final version to be showcased at the upcoming EICMA. And only after its global launch, we expect MV Agusta to bring the Superveloce 800 to India.
