MG Motor India is gearing up to launch the six-seater Hector Plus SUV on July 13. We all know that the upcoming SUV will be offered in three variants: Super, Smart and Sharp. Now, just ahead of its launch, the manufacturer has revealed the detailed variant-wise feature list of the SUV.
Super:

This is the base-spec variant of the MG Hector Plus and comes loaded with all the essential features including:
Engine Option: 2.0-litre diesel MT
10.4-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Offline maps and navigation.
Cruise control.
Manual controls for the HVAC system.
Cruise control.
Steering-mounted audio controls.
Power-adjustable ORVMs.
Remote control with central locking.
A 4-speaker sound system.
17-inch silver alloy wheels.
LED headlamps, tail lamps and DRLs.

ABS with EBD.

Smart:

This is the mid-spec variant of the MG Hector Plus. In addition to the features in the base-spec variant, this one packs:
Engine Options: 1.4-litre petrol AT, 2.0-litre diesel MT

Online navigation with live traffic updates.
An Infinity sound system (4 speakers + 4 tweeters + a subwoofer).
Power-adjustable driver’s seat.
Push button start.
Electrically foldable ORVMs.
Telescopic adjust for the steering wheel.
17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Side airbags (Total 4).
Electronic parking brake (DCT variant only).
Tyre pressure monitoring system.
Sharp:

This is the top-spec variant of the MG Hector Plus and comes packed with all the premium goodies such as:
Engine Options: 1.4-litre petrol-hybrid MT, 1.4-litre petrol AT, 2.0-litre diesel MT
A panoramic sunroof.
7-inch coloured multi-info display.
4-way power-adjustable co-driver’s seat (Except on hybrid variants).
Powered tailgate with smart swipe function.
Ambient lighting with eight colour options.
Automatic climate control.
Automatic headlamps and wipers.
Curtain airbags (Total 6).
360-degree camera.

Though the base-spec variant of the MG Hector is well equipped, we suggest you step up to the mid-spec Smart variant as it packs those extra bits of essentials like power-folding ORVMs and a telescopic steering. That said, if you have the budget, we recommend the top-spec variant as it features a host of premium features.

Prices for the MG Hector Plus are expected to start from Rs 15.88 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in the ballpark of Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra XUV500, and the upcoming Tata Gravitas.
