Renault Triber Turbo Launched In India, Prices Start From Rs 7.84 Lakh

Back in July 2025, when Renault launched the facelifted Triber in India, it was anticipated that the French marque would also bring out a turbo-petrol version of the sub-4m MPV. While it did not turn out to be true at that time, Renault has now finally launched the Triber Turbo in our market. Its bookings are now open for Rs 11,000, while deliveries are expected to begin soon. Here are all the details:

Prices of the newly launched turbo-petrol variants command a premium ranging between Rs 94,000 and Rs 1.11 lakh over their respective variants with the naturally aspirated (N/A) petrol engine.

Renault Triber Turbo: Engine And Transmission Options

With the new turbo-petrol engine, Renault is providing a 5-speed manual shifter only. However, the Triber retains the previously offered 1-litre N/A engine as well. It makes 72 PS and 96 Nm, and comes with both 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission) choices. The N/A engine can also be specced with a CNG kit at an authorised Renault dealership.

Renault Triber Turbo: Exterior And Interior Design

As this is only a powertrain upgrade, the Triber does not get any cosmetic tweaks inside and out, save for the inclusion of the ‘Turbo’ badge on its tailgate. Key exterior design highlights are all-LED lighting, 15-inch dual-tone wheels with stylised covers, and roof rails.

On the inside, it has the same beige and grey theme as the standard version with a 3-spoke steering wheel. Renault offers it in a 7-seat layout with modular seating (fully removable) in the last row.

Renault has equipped the Triber Turbo with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control with rear vents, a wireless phone charger, and push-button start/stop.

In terms of safety, the Triber Turbo comes with six airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, rain-sensing wipers, and front and rear parking sensors. It also gets electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a rear parking camera.

Renault Triber Turbo: Rivals

It is a more affordable option to other MPVs in the market such as the Maruti Ertiga and XL6, Toyota Rumion, Kia Carens and Carens Clavis, while directly competing with the Nissan Gravite.

The turbo-petrol engine option on the Triber was long anticipated, and it’s finally arrived, solving a major weakness of the MPV until now.
