The DSK Benelli 302R has finally reached India almost two years after it was last seen at the 2016 Auto Expo and has been priced at Rs 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The new Benelli also happens to be the first ever full-faired motorcycle after the Tornado 1130, also stating its importance to the company. This new entry level Italian superbike also makes its way to our shores as a CKD unit, coming in from China. That said, the touch and feel of the product looks promising and at par with the quality on offer by DSK Benelli for its higher capacity products.
The DSK Benelli 302R’s design is fresh and appealing, also hinting at the company’s design philosophy being inspired by the bigger Benellis, as can be seen from the dual headlamps and the fuel tank design. Apart from the this, we also like the twin-pod exhaust with the buffed-alloy finish. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, the 302R is powered by the same sweet-sounding, BS4-compliant motor that the TNT 300 features: a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, in-line two-cylinder that produces 38.5PS @ 11500rpm with 26.5Nm of torque being generated at 10000rpm.

Apart from this the 302R also features the much-needed safety net of ABS, with a similar brake setup up front and rear. The front suspension is similar to the one on the naked TNT 300, while the rear will feature a mid-set monoshock linked to an all-new chassis, which has been designed from the ground up. Available at 25 dealerships across India, the 302R comes in three colour options: Red-Black, Green-White and Red-White. Stay tuned to this space as we will soon come up with an in-depth road test coverage on the 302R. Host of CNC parts and accessories available for the 302R across all showrooms in India. The bike will also be offered with a host of CNC parts and accessories across all showrooms in India.
