Bajaj recently launched the Chetak C25 electric scooter in India at Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Positioned as the most affordable offering in Bajaj’s electric lineup, the Chetak C25 sits below the Chetak 30 Series and is aimed at buyers looking for a reliable, everyday electric scooter without stretching their budget. Here are all the standout features of the e-scooter you need to know about:
The Bajaj Chetak C25 comes equipped with a colour LCD instrument console. It supports smartphone connectivity, enabling features like call alerts and music control, though these are accessible via the optional Tec Pac, priced at Rs 3,000.

Powering the Chetak C25 is a 2.5kWh NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery, neatly integrated into the floorboard for better weight distribution. Bajaj claims a range of 113km, with a more realistic real-world range of around 90km. Charging from 0-80 percent takes 2 hours 25 minutes, while the included 750W offboard charger can charge the battery from 0-100 percent in under 4 hours. The hub-mounted motor produces 2.2kW of peak power and delivers a top speed of 55kmph.
The Chetak C25 gets two riding modes: Eco and Sports, allowing riders to prioritise efficiency or performance. It also comes equipped with hill-hold assist and a dedicated reverse mode, both of which enhance ease of use in everyday city conditions. While the feature list isn’t flashy, it covers all the essentials expected in this segment.

The scooter features a telescopic fork along with twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a front disc brake, and it rides on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The 763mm seat height should be comfortable for most riders, while the 170mm ground clearance is adequate for Indian roads. Despite its metal body construction, the Chetak C25 has a manageable kerb weight of 108kg. Practicality is further enhanced by 25 litres of underseat storage, enough for a full-face helmet or daily essentials.
With bookings already open and deliveries expected to begin soon, the Bajaj Chetak C25 positions itself as a sensible, well-built electric scooter for buyers looking to make the switch to electric without paying a premium.
