Aprilia, Vespa Scooters Updated With ABS

While the 150cc range gets ABS, the 125cc scooter range has also been updated, albeit with CBS (Combined Braking System)

The update comes with a price hike ranging upto Rs 10,000.
Updated models are already on sale across all dealerships in India.
No mechanical changes have been made to the scooters.

Aprilia, Vespa Scooters Updated With ABS highlights

Piaggio group has updated its 150cc scooter lineup with single-channel ABS. These include the Vespa SXL 150, VXL 150 and the Elegante 150. Along with it, the Aprilia range consisting of the SR 150, SR 150 Carbon and the SR 150 Race have also been updated with single-channel ABS. Here’s a detailed price list of the updated 150cc models:

Piaggio group has also updated its 125cc scooters with CBS (Combined Braking System). These include the Vespa VXL & SXL 125, along with the Aprilia SR 125. The move doesn't come as a surprise considering the deadline of equipping models upto 125cc with CBS and models above 125cc with ABS (1 April 2018) is edging closer.
