Simple has finally launched its flagship Ultra electric scooter after unveiling it in January this year. At Rs 2,34,999 (ex-showroom), it’s positioned as a no-compromise electric scooter.
Pushing The Limits
Front and centre is the 6.5kWh battery, the largest on any e-scooter in India, delivering a staggering 400km IDC claimed range. It borrows its performance figures from the Simple One Gen 2, packing an 8.8kW motor churning out 72Nm. The result? 0-40kmph in 2.77 seconds and a 115kmph top speed (both claimed).

Loaded To The Gills
On the Simple Ultra, you get: cruise control, multiple ride modes, four levels of both: traction control, and regen braking. The 7-inch TFT touchscreen includes navigation duties, 5G e-SIM with LTE, Bluetooth, OTA updates, TPMS, geo-fencing, Find My Vehicle, and park assist with reverse.
The practical bits include a fairly low 780mm seat height, 35-litre underseat boot, USB type-C charging port, and charging via a portable 750W charger.
Available now

Bookings are open and the brand is also actively expanding its retail footprint. Simple Energy is offering up to 8 years/80,000km warranty on the battery and motor under the extended coverage plan.
ZigSays
A 400km range claim, big power figures, and a feature list to match make it one of the most ambitious electric scooters yet. Now it just needs to prove it’s as convincing on the road as it is on paper.
