Plans for India are going steadfastly ahead, and the latest confirmation strengthens the sense that the Vietnamese EV maker is here for the long game. Coming to India in February 2026, the Limo Green, an all-electric MPV from VinFast, is going to be the third VinFast model for the country after the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. VinFast enters a segment that is still in its youth but is gaining eyeballs fast with models such as the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7.
The Limo Green is designed as a traditional MPV but executed as a full EV, and its dimensions make that intent clear. At 4,740 mm long, 1,872 mm wide, and 1,728 mm tall, with a 2,840 mm wheelbase, it is larger than the Kia Carens Clavis EV and even edges past the BYD eMax 7 in length and width. This allows VinFast to offer a roomy interior with a 2+3+2 seating layout, following the classic seven-seat configuration expected of a family-oriented MPV.

It is simple and slab-sided in design, with VinFast’s signature V-shaped motifs. The interior is similarly practical in its approach, with a straightforward dashboard, clean layout, and an emphasis on space over superfluous features.

Under the skin, this Limo Green utilises a front-mounted electric motor with 204 PS and 280 Nm, powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack, which should be an NMC chemistry unit if VinFast’s global portfolio is anything to go by. The company estimates an NEDC range of 450 km, but real-world numbers will, of course, be lower, as the NEDC cycle tends to be a little optimistic.

Charging options include 11 kW AC charging for home or workplace setups and 80 kW DC fast charging, which can take the battery from 10 to 70 per cent in about 30 minutes. This makes the Limo Green practical not just for family buyers but also for high-utilisation fleet or mobility operators needing quick turnaround cycles.
Starting with the features list, more emphasis has been given to everyday usability rather than premium indulgence. The cabin gets a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, four speakers, single-zone climate control, and USB charging options. The driver's seat gets six-way manual adjustment, and the MPV runs on 18-inch alloy wheels. It also gets two driving modes and all-disc brakes for better stopping consistency.

Other safety equipment includes four airbags, ABS, and an electronic parking brake. ADAS features are not available on this model, which is consistent with VinFast’s functional, fleet-oriented positioning for the vehicle.
The Limo Green is not just a stand-alone product launch; it's expected to work hand-in-hand with VinFast’s new mobility arm, GSM (Green and Smart Mobility), which will make its India debut around the same time. GSM is owned by VinFast’s parent company, Vingroup, chaired by Pham Nhat Vuong. The service already operates in Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Laos, while India will become its fifth market.
The Limo Green may not be flashy or feature-packed, but that's not its brief. It's built for space, practicality, and efficiency, qualities that matter equally to families and fleet operators. And with GSM set to enter India alongside the MPV, VinFast is gearing up for a rollout strategy that ensures immediate volumes and visibility.
Though the electric MPV segment is still young, interest in it is growing fast. Already competing with players like BYD eMax 7 and Kia Carens Clavis EV, Limo Green is entering at the right moment with the right attributes.
