Pre-bookings were opened a few weeks back for Rs 21,000, while deliveries are expected to start soon as well. Let’s take a look at what the VF MPV 7 has to offer:
Starting with the exterior design of the VinFast VF MPV 7, it follows a minimalistic design language but with key design details that tie it in with other cars in the VinFast lineup. At the front, you get a connected LED DRL strip running across the width and merging neatly into the VinFast logo. The LED headlights are placed below, and being an EV, the grille is blanked-off. The bottom part of the front bumper, however, houses an air dam which lets air inside for battery cooling purposes.

In profile, the silhouette sports an upright stance, while the overall design speaks of its space-first orientation. The windows are large, and they also house a chrome windowline. The VF MPV 7 rides on 19-inch alloy wheels, and it also gets a shark fin antenna.

Moving to the rear, there is a connected LED taillamp cluster that flows into the VinFast logo just like at the front. The tailgate itself has a flat design, and the rear bumper gets chunky cladding and honeycomb inserts on the edges to complete the overall look. To further give it a sporty feel, it also sports an integrated rear spoiler and 'VinFast' lettering as well.

VinFast is offering the VF MPV 7 in 6 colour options called Infinity Blanc, Zenith Grey, Jet Black, Solar Ruby, Moonlit Ocean and Introspective Brown.
On the inside, the cabin of the VF MPV 7 gets a choice of an all-black or dual-tone black and brown colour scheme. Just like other VinFast models, the dashboard is dominated by a large touchscreen in the centre that also adopts the role of an instrument cluster and controls most of the in-car functions. This eliminates the use of physical buttons, giving a very neat look.

The centre console has a brushed aluminium finish with two cupholders, a large storage compartment behind it and a dedicated slot to keep your mobile phone ahead as well. However, the biggest reason to get the VF MPV 7 is its three-row layout that offers a spacious and comfortable experience for occupants and a lot of flexibility as well.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 comes equipped with a decent list of features, starting with a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, a 4-speaker sound system, cruise control, automatic air conditioning with rear AC vents, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Though all basic features are included, it still lacks a lot of features that are offered in its rivals like a panoramic sunroof, electric assisted and ventilated front seats, and a wireless charger.

In terms of safety, the VinFast VF MPV 7 comes equipped with 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear view camera, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, auto-dimming IRVM, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. VinFast has ensured that the safety baseline is strong.
VinFast is offering the VF MPV 7 with a single battery pack option. The battery pack is a large 60.13 kWh unit with a claimed driving range of 517 km. VinFast claims that this battery pack can charge at a speed of 80 kW, topping up the battery from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Here are the detailed battery specifications of the new VF MPV 7:

VinFast is also offering free public charging for its products across its VGreen charging network until March 31, 2029
The VinFast VF MPV 7 is entering a segment which is not very crowded at the moment. It will rival three-row EVs like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMAX 7, although it could also be an alternative to ICE-powered MPVs like the Kia Carens Clavis, Toyota Innova Hycross and Maruti Invicto.

The VinFast VF MPV 7 looks like a very promising product for India and is likely to appeal to families seeking a spacious MPV for long trips. The long list of features and a strong driving range ensure that the car can tackle most situations easily. The exterior design is simple and appealing, while the interior is simplistic and practical reflecting the comfort-oriented and sober nature of MPVs.
However, VinFast has tried its best to make the VF MPV 7 appeal to a wide audience, making it a credible alternative to other cars in the segment.
