The Bajaj Dominar 400 finally gets updated for 2025!

The updated Bajaj Dominar 400 was recently spotted with a new LCD console with a dot matrix inset – the same one as on the Pulsar NS400Z. With this console, the Dominar 400 will now have features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/sms alerts. But, you win some and lose some. With the new console, the Dominar loses its secondary display on the fuel tank. That has been replaced by a neatly-integrated USB charging port.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 will continue with the same 373.5cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, with the same 40PS and 35Nm. However, it will definitely get an update to make it OBD-2B compliant. Though the display is not the only thing it will get from the NS400Z – we think that Bajaj could also give the Dominar ride-by-wire, and maybe riding modes and traction control.

Though the cosmetic changes on the new Dominar could be limited, we can expect some new colour schemes.

The new update will be one of the most significant updates to the Dominar. It will add to its touring credentials with everything that it will get.

The Dominar has also been praised by its owners for its easy-going nature that makes it easy to use on an everyday basis as well. That paired with Bajaj’s affordable ownership experience makes the Dominar a worthy competitor in its class. The new update should up Dominar’s game in all aspects and still keep it exciting enough. Though, we just hope Bajaj brings its weight down more, which would make it that much better.
