[UPDATE: Tork Motors has launched the Kratos in India at Rs 1.32 lakh onwards. More about the specifications, availability and pricing in our launch story]

Tork Motors has revealed the launch date for the Kratos electric motorcycle: January 26. The Indian EV maker will kick off proceedings on Republic Day as bookings for the Kratos will commence after the launch itself.
Codenamed the T6X, Tork claims the Kratos is India’s first indigenously designed and engineered motorcycle to go on sale. While we have seen the likes of the Revolt twins and the Ultraviolette F77 so far, the former has Super Soco roots while the latter is still to go on sale officially (somewhere around mid-2022). The Kratos looks properly sporty with sharp tank extensions and an edgy body.

Tork claims its new Axial Flux Motor has an efficiency rating of 90-96 percent, which makes it better than regular motors. The adoption of new motor technology also will benefit in keeping battery sizes in check without compromising on longevity and range.
We estimate the Kratos to go on sale at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), excluding FAME 2 and state-wise subsidies.
