Top 5 Best Selling Yamaha Two-Wheelers In January 2025

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released the two-wheelers sales numbers for January 2025, and here are the top-5 best selling two-wheelers from Yamaha:

RayZR

The Yamaha RayZR is the best selling Yamaha two wheeler in India. It saw a 23.5% rise in sales in January 2025 when compared to December 2024 and a 23.2% rise when compared to January 2024. The Yamaha RayZR is a sporty looking 125cc scooter which offers a perfect blend of sporty looks and practicality. It is one of the most fuel-efficient scooters in the country with a claimed mileage of 71.3kmpl. Its sales figures are no way near the best selling 125cc scooter but it still manages to sell in decent numbers to be the best selling two-wheeler for Yamaha.

FZ Series

The FZ series has been one of the best-selling motorcycles for Yamaha for a very long time now. In January 2025 it saw a decline in sales by 25.2% when compared to December 2024 and a rise of 28% when compared to January 2024. The Yamaha FZ is a sporty 150cc commuter motorcycle which offers decent engine performance and fuel efficiency. Its chunky telescopic fork and wide rear tyre gives the FZ its distinctive look which has been praised by many.

MT-15

The Yamaha MT-15 was the best selling Yamaha two-wheeler back in December 2024. In January 2025 its sales saw a decline of 34.8% but the sales were still 68.2% better than the sales in January 2024.

The Yamaha MT-15 is a sports bike which uses the same potent motor from the R15. This engine offers a perfect blend between great performance and fuel efficiency. The lightweight build and compact dimensions makes the MT-15 a fun motorcycle to ride in the city.

R15

The Yamaha R15 is one of the most loved sports bikes in India. In January 2025 its sales figures rose by almost 63.8% which is quite manic. However the sales figures were about 15.4% more in January 2024. The Yamaha R15 uses an aerodynamic front fairing along with low set clip ons and rear set footpegs. These design elements have helped the R15 in securing a place as one of the best selling sport bikes within the 150-250cc category. It is the most powerful bike in the segment and offers thrilling performance along with endless Japanese reliability.

Fascino 

The Fascino is a stylish looking 125cc scooter from Yamaha. In January 2025, its sales figures rose by 1.03% in comparison to December 2025. However the sales were 40.5% better in January 2025 than in January 2024. The Fascino gets the same 125cc engine as the RayZR however the claimed mileage figures are slightly less at 68.75kmpl. It offers a perfect balance of styling, fuel efficiency and engine refinement. Its sales figures are not even close when compared to the best sellers, Access 125 and Activa 125.
