The TVS Apache series dominates the sales chart for motorcycles from Rs 1-2 lakh. Its sales figures saw a rise of 7.61% in January 2025 when compared to December 2024. And a 10% gain when compared to January 2024. The Apache series consist of the RTR 160 2V, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180 2V and RTR 200 4V. All the Apaches are praised for their aggressive design language and exciting performance. The motorcycles also offer a number of features which also makes them quite desirable.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the second best selling bike in India for January 2025 within the price bracket. Its sales rose by 3.1% when compared to December 2024 and 8.7% compared to January 2024. The motorcycle is also the best selling motorcycle within the 250cc to 500cc category. It is praised for its timeless design and appealing paint schemes. The Classic 350 makes a solid case for itself as a likeable retro motorcycle with slight modern touches. It has consistently been one of the best selling bikes in the country.

The Honda Unicorn CB 150 is one of the best selling 150cc commuter motorcycles in the country. Its sales rose 12.5% when compared to December 2024 and a whopping 34% when compared to January 2024. The CB Unicorn 150 offers a blend of minimalistic looks and an efficient engine. Being a Honda the engine offers supreme refinement and linear power delivery. For 2025, the Unicorn 150 gets an all LED headlight along with an LCD screen which makes it more appealing.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 & N150 are two of the best selling 150cc Pulsars. Its sales figures rose by 4.7% when compared December 2024 but were down by 39.5% when compared to January 2024. Both of these Pulsars are sporty looking commuter motorcycles but the N-150 takes the sporty approach a notch higher. These 150cc motorcycles use different engines but both offer exciting power delivery and pretty decent fuel efficiency.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been praised for its compact dimensions and retro modern design. Its sales figures were 12.4% down when compared to December 2024 but were still better by 47% when compared to January 2024. The Hunter 350 uses the same engine as the other 350s from RE but performs a bit better, thanks to its lighter weight. Its retro modern design and striking colour options makes the motorcycle quite appealing.
