This week has been quite an exciting one, and we got to see some major updates in the electric two-wheeler space. Along with this, we also got to see some really interesting spy shots of two upcoming bikes and a massive discount being announced on two very iconic bikes. Here’s a brief overview.
Ola S1 Gen 3 Platform Launched

Ola Electric has launched the Gen 3 platform and now the S1 lineup includes 4 models: The Ola S1 Pro+, the Ola S1 Pro, the Ola S1 X+ and the Ola S1 X. The Ola S1 Pro has now become the mid-spec variant replacing the Ola S1 Air, which was offered on the Ola S1 Gen 2 platform. Now, this update has brought some improvements in terms of range and performance. But what really took us by surprise is the Ola S1 Pro+ and what it has to offer.
Ultraviolette F77 Superstreet Launched

Ultraviolette launched the F77 Superstreet, which is a streetfighter take on the popular F77 Mach 2. Ultraviolette has done a really good job with this one, and it will definitely help the brand appeal to a wider audience. The F77 Mach 2 with its sporty and committed riding ergonomics might now be something which many riders may not appreciate. The new e-bike also comes at the same price as the F77 Mach 2!
Aprilia Tuono 457 Spotted Testing

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is going to be launched in India on February 17, 2025. So far we had not got a chance to see the bike in person since its official unveil at EICMA 2024. But we at ZigWheels were able to obtain exclusive photos of the production ready bike being tested. Overall, we are quite excited to see the bike coming to India.
Triumph Thruxton 400 Spotted Testing

We also got to see the Triumph Thruxton 400 being tested in India. The Thruxton 400 will be the cafe racer bike in the Triumph 400 lineup. The bike will feature a quarter fairing and clip-on handlebars. Judging by what we can see from our exclusive photos, it is clear that the Triumph Thruxton 400 will share a lot in common with the Triumph Speed 400.
Yamaha R3 And Yamaha MT-03 Prices Cut

The Yamaha R3 and MT-03 have received a massive price cut of up to Rs 1,10,000. This has made both the bikes a lot more competitive when compared to their rivals. We believe Yamaha is bringing this discount as the brand is planning on introducing the 2025 Yamaha R3 and 2025 Yamaha MT-03 in India soon. So they want to clear stocks.
