Existing Mahindra owners can avail an exclusive preview from October 1.
The XUV700 is priced from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and offered in two broad trims: MX and AX.
Mahindra will announce the delivery dates from October 10, with petrol variants being the first models to be delivered.
While Mahindra has announced the prices of the XUV700 SUV that range from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom,Delhi), you’ll have to wait a little longer to get a test drive, which the carmaker has announced will commence from October 2, 2021 onwards, that too in two phases.
Here are all the cities where you’ll be able to avail a test drive of the XUV700 for now:

The first phase of test drives will be available for 11 cities, with the second phase opening up to another eight cities. All this will take place within the span of a week. The carmaker will add more cities to the test drive roster from October 10 onwards. Those who already own a Mahindra will be able to avail an exclusive preview of the XUV700 from October 1 onwards. Mahindra offers the XUV700 in two trims: MX and AdrenoX (AX), with the latter spreading out to the AX3, AX5, and AX7 variants. It comes loaded with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, digital driver’s display, and a panoramic sunroof. There’s also an optional Luxury Pack for a Rs 1.8 lakh premium which adds features like a Sony 3D sound system and a 360-degree camera.
Passenger safety is taken care of by seven airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic stability programs. The real party trick with regards to the safety features, though, is a suite of autonomous driving assists that includes lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, autonomous emergency braking, and forward collision warning.
The XUV700 can be specced with either a 2-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine. While both engines get manual and automatic transmission options, it's only the AX7 diesel-automatic that gets an optional all-wheel drivetrain, albeit for a premium of Rs 1.3 lakh. While test drives are all well and good, you’ll still have to wait until October 7 to book the Mahindra XUV700, and then wait even longer before it’s delivered, as the carmaker will announce delivery dates only on October 10. Additionally, the petrol variants will be delivered first, followed by their diesel counterparts. The SUV goes up against multiple rivals which include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier/Safari, MG Hector/Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.
