The current lineup of the Triumph 400cc range includes the Speed 400, Speed T4, & the Scrambler 400 X. Additionally, the upcoming Scrambler 400 XC with spoked wheels and the Thruxton 400 have also been spotted testing a couple of times. We now have another model spotted testing, which could be called the Street Scrambler 400 or the Tracker 400.
The bike that has been spotted is quite unique as it almost feels like a blend between the Speed and the Scrambler. It is running on 17-inch alloy wheels (same as 2025 Speed 400) and seems to have the suspension setup from the Speed 400. The side panels are new, extending more towards the rear, it has a flat single-piece seat and a neat tail section. These side panels appear similar to those we see on flat-track bikes which is why we think this could either be called the Street Scrambler or the Tracker.

The bike also has a small windscreen at the front, and the mirrors appear to be from the Scrambler 400 X. Finally, the exhaust on this bike is also the same unit as the Scrambler 400 X. Considering that this bike is running on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, we can expect it to have the same sprockets as the Speed 400. The 398.15 cc, single-cylinder engine in the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X makes 40PS at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 37.5Nm at 6500rpm.
Considering the tall seat height of the Scrambler 400 X, this new model will give customers the look and feel of a Scrambler with the short-rider-friendly accessibility of the Speed 400. We can expect it to be priced between the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, possibly around Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect Triumph to launch the motorcycle around this year’s festive season in India.
