2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Spotted
Gets tubeless spoked wheels and a new colour
Gets several accessories as standard
2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 XC spotted and it comes with a whole bunch of goodies that make it more off-road friendly. It also gets a new paint-scheme that makes it look quite in-your-face.
The yellow paint scheme with black graphics looks quite bold and should make the bike stand out in a crowd. Tubeless cross-spoked wheels are another important update in the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC. These will go a long way in easing the puncture repairing process - especially on a trail or off the tarmac. The spoked wheels themselves will make it a more capable off-roader – can scramble with more ease.
Other changes to the bike include a bunch of standard accessories which are otherwise optional on the 400 X. These include a body-coloured windscreen (yellow in this case), crash guards, an aluminium bash plate (to protect the underbelly while hooning on the trails), and a raised fender (that completes its offroad-ready look).
The 400 XC should be mechanically the same as the Scrambler 400 X – 40PS, 37.5Nm, 398cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine. Even the suspension seems to be the same on the spotted bike - 43mm inverted fork and preload adjustable monoshock, which allows for 150mm wheel travel at both ends. All the features should also be the same as the 400 X.
While the Scrambler 400 X is priced at Rs 2,66,449 (ex-showroom, India), we reckon the 400 XC to be priced about Rs 20,000 more. It's expected to launch around the festive season this year.
When launched, the 400 XC will be the most hardcore off-roader from Triumph in the 400-500cc category. While the Scrambler 400 X will be more road-biased with capability to tackle broken roads, and do soft-roading, the Scrambler 400 XC will be an offroad-biased bike which will love to kick up some dirt. This will give budding off-road enthusiasts an entry-point into the British brand; that is until we hear something about a Tiger 400. But that might still be quite far away since the baby Tiger has been spotted yet.
