Honda Cars India has commenced the series production of its upcoming offering, the Elevate. It’s slated to launch in early-September and pre-launch bookings are open for a while now. If you have your eyes on one, be quick as it already has a waiting period of around four months. Deliveries are slated to commence soon after its price announcement.
The Honda Elevate will be a petrol-only offering and comes in four trims: SV, V, VX and ZX. It will get the tried and tested 121PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, teamed with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The stick shifter will be offered as standard across the line, while the automatic will be limited to the top three.
In terms of features, the Honda Elevate gets all the essentials covered, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof, semi-digital driver’s display and a wireless phone charger. On the safety front, it gets six airbags, electronic stability control and ADAS.

The Honda Elevate’s prices are expected to start from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go up against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.
