Hero MotoCorp’s first new two-wheeler of 2023 will be the new Maestro Xoom 110, which is set to launch on January 30. Details regarding the new scooter surfaced on the internet in September 2022 and the teaser image shows the same fascia.
One can clearly see the Xoom’s sporty intentions with its sharp face and clean cuts, almost quite similar to the TVS NTorq 125. Hero will be giving an LED headlight and tail light in the company’s signature X-shape.

Furthermore, Hero is expected to kit the Xoom out with quite a lot of modern features that have now become quite common on 125cc scooters but not on 110s. Bits like a full digital dash, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts are expected to be present on the Xoom 110. It is also expected to roll on 12-inch alloys at both ends with a front disc brake likely to be offered as standard.
It is quite surprising that Hero sought to give this ‘Xoom’ treatment to the Maestro 110 and not the Maestro 125 as the 125cc space is clearly booming. Nevertheless, this particular scooter could be priced at around Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom), making it a worthy competitor to the much-loved Honda Dio.
