Skoda India is preparing to launch the Kushaq Anniversary Edition in India to cash in on the festive season. We have exclusively procured the prices of the special edition, which is based on the one-below-top Style trim. This edition will be offered with both the 1-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines and with both manual and automatic transmission options.

The Kushaq Anniversary Edition commands a Rs 30,000 premium over the Style variant.

For the extra dough, you get ‘Anniversary Edition’ badging and stickering on the C-pillar, chrome garnish on the door sills and door-end protectors. However, the highlight is the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a subwoofer and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity that has been reintroduced in this variant.

There are also a couple of accessories that will be fitted at the dealer-level for this particular edition. It includes:
Chrome inserts for the front grille
Door sunshades
Cushion and neck pillows
3D rubber mat
Mud flaps
Sunblinds for rear windows
Key fob cover
Body cover

No other changes have been made to the Kushaq. It continues to be powered by either the 115PS 1-litre three-cylinder or 150PS 1.5-litre four pot turbo-petrol engines. A six-speed manual is standard, while the automatic options include a six-speed automatic (with the 1-litre TSI) and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (with the 1.5-litre TSI).

The Skoda Kushaq range is currently priced between Rs 11.29 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara and the Toyota Hyryder.
