Offering safety features like six airbags as standard has become a significant consideration for car buyers and influences their decision to purchase a car. Not only does this ensure passenger safety, but it also enhances a car's performance in crash test results. In light of this trend, Citroen, starting July 2024, will offer six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and rear seat belt reminders standard across its lineup.
Currently, Citroen's mass-market models like the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross come equipped with safety features including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors with a camera. Standardising these features will enhance the safety quotient.
The C5 Aircross, Citroen’s flagship SUV, boasts a wide array of safety features including six airbags, driver drowsiness detection, electronic stability program (ESP), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill assist, park assist, a rear parking camera, and a blind-spot detection system.

Recently, the French carmaker also introduced the C3 Aircross with automatic transmission. Additionally, Citroen also plans to unveil its crossover sedan, the C3X soon, which was recently spotted.
