Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently updated the V-Strom SX along with its Gixxer range for the 2025 model year. The V-Strom now gets an OBD-2B compliant 249cc, air & oil cooled, single-cylinder engine along with refreshed colour schemes.
The 2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX is now available in a total of three colour options including Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Sonoma Red. Here is a detailed explanation of what each colour gets:
Suzuki V-Strom SX Metallic Sonoma Red
The Metallic Sonoma Red is the latest addition to the Suzuki V-Strom SX’s colour options. This new colourway replaces the outgoing Pearl Blaze Orange colour option. The V-Strom SX in Metallic Sonoma Red colour scheme comes with a dual-tone maroon and black paint scheme.

The bike features a maroon finish at the front including the beak and side panels. Half of the tail section is also finished in maroon. Whereas, the half of the fuel tank, mid-section, fenders, exhaust and the tip of the tail section is covered in black colour. The beak features white “V-Strom SX” stickers on either side. The tank and side panels also have ‘Suzuki’ badging and “SX 250” decals written on both sides along with a few white and black graphics all around.
Suzuki V-Strom SX Champion Yellow No.2
The Suzuki V-Strom SX retains its iconic dual-tone yellow and black paint scheme. The bike looks vibrant with the paint scheme. It has a bright yellow beak, side panels and half of the tail section.

Similar to the Metallic Sonoma Red paint scheme, half of the fuel tank, fenders, exhaust, mid-section and half tail section is blacked out. It features similar graphics as the Metallic Sonoma Red as well, but in black, blue and grey colours.
Suzuki V-Strom SX Glass Sparkle Black
The Suzuki V-Strom SX in Glass Sparkle Black features a single-tone gloss black paint scheme all around. The bike has red and light grey graphics on the beak, side panels and tail section.

All three colour options are available for the same price tag of Rs 2,16,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Suzuki V-Strom SX is equipped with an OBD-2B compliant 249cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, borrowed from the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. The engine also makes the same power output of 26.5PS at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
