2025 Skoda Kodiaq Specifications Revealed, India Launch In Coming Weeks

With the upcoming 2025 Kodiaq, Skoda is aiming to make a stronger mark in the premium SUV space. Compared to its predecessor, the new-gen Kodiaq brings a refreshed design, and a revamped interior with added features. Ahead of its launch on April 17, Skoda has now revealed its specifications, variant lineup, features, and powertrain details. Here's a complete look at what the 2025 Kodiaq has to offer.

Variants and Colour Options

Skoda will offer the 2025 Kodiaq in two variants, Sportline and Selection L&K. Along with visual differences such as blacked-out elements and uniquely designed 18-inch alloy wheels, both variants will come with their own set of exterior colour options. The Sportline will be available in Steel Grey, Race Blue Metallic, and Magic Blue Metallic. 

While the Selection L&K will be offered in Bronx Gold Metallic, Velvet Red Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, and Moon White Metallic. Notably, both variants will feature a three-row seating layout with 281 litres of boot space. When the third-row seats are folded, the new-gen Kodiaq offers a boot capacity of 786 litres.

Features and Cabin Layout

Both the Sportline and Selection L&K variants will be offered with different interior colour schemes while featuring the same overall layout. The former features an all-black cabin, while the latter boasts a dual-tone tan and black theme. 

As for features, the 2025 Kodiaq will come equipped with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 13-speaker CANTON sound system, wireless phone charging, and powered front-row seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions.

On the safety front, the 2025 Kodiaq gets 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, hill descent control, a 360-degree camera system with front and rear parking sensors, and park assist system. 

Powertrain Specifications

Under the hood, the 2025 Kodiaq boasts a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 204 PS and 320 Nm. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and comes equipped with an all-wheel drive system. The 2025 Kodiaq delivers a claimed mileage of 14.86 kmpl.

Expected Pricing

Skoda will manufacture the 2025 Kodiaq locally, which could mean aggressive pricing for the premium SUV. We expect it to be priced around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, the 2025 Kodiaq will take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Jeep Meridian.
