This Classic 350 based bobber looks absolutely rad

Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 Spied

We know that Royal Enfield has a thing for retro and classical styling, but this upcoming Shotgun 350 (or Classic 350 Bobber) is some next level stuff. We’ve known that it’s been in the works but this is the first time this motorcycle has been spied and true to its silhouette, this bobber is pulling all the stops to look authentic.

Let’s begin with the design, the essence of this motorcycle. Although just an early sighting, it’s clear the Classic 350 will serve as the base platform for the Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 bobber. The key aesthetic differences are the ape hanger handlebars, single seat and the white walled tyres, at least at first glance. Needless to say the new handlebar will have a huge impact on the handling of the motorcycle, not to mention the ergonomics.

RE Classic 350 Bobber

Look closer and you’ll notice a few more changes like the slash cut exhaust, LED bullet indicators and a redesigned tail light, similar to the one in the Super Meteor 650. All these elements tie in nicely with the bobber theme. That said, while most of these visible accessories appear to be standard fitment, stuff like white walled tyres and a pillion seat option could be optional extras.

With regards to performance, we expect the engine tune to be a little more spirited. That said, the outright engine displacement and output figures will be the same as those of the Meteor, Classic, and Hunter. Even the underpinnings will be similar to what you find on the Classic 350 with maybe slight modifications to meet its fitness of purpose better.

From what we know Royal Enfield has one more motorcycles incoming from the J-series platform apart from this bobber - the new Bullet 350. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 could likely make its debut by mid 2024 and be priced around Rs 2.20 lakh. It will rival the Jawa Perak and 42 Bobber which are both priced at Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
