4.2The bike is the best in 160
Apache 160 4v is the best in 160 sports commuter section. It gives a smooth riding experience with lightining quick acceleration and a top speed of about 123 kmph and a whooping 50 kmpl average.Although the bike is best in its class but the maintenance is quite expensive when compared to other manufacturers like bajaj.Still it is the best 160 cc bike that one can own in my opinion.

- Though i own 160 4v, i cant say about honda in question... 160 with a kick start is basic motorcycle but in past 3 years i found basic service is average of 1000+ or - but additional cost occured like shockers broke, silence inner muffler blew, parking lights issues which till date are not fixed and few other knick knacks happened and my running is just 20km per week hardly reached 12k. So my guess is yes 160 4v might b a little higher higher in maintenance considering its a 3 year old only

- No, I won't recommend that, by default, the suspension preload is set to the softer side and even with a single pillion, my bike's suspension compresses a lot and there is not of suspension travel left, although I won't recommend 3 people to sit on a bike, even for a heavy pillion, I would suggest you bump up the preload by a few clicks for a better ride.
- Yes, you can make 4 people sit. 1 on tank, 1 on first seat, 1 in between 2 seats, 1 in the last seat.

- The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6 wears an aggressive streetfighter look with clean lines all over. The significant design change on the new BS6 bike is the angular all-LED headlight with fang-like LED DRLs, complementing the muscular fuel tank extensions. - I too faced the same issue after not using my rtr 160 4v fi for 6 months and took it to Service Center. Since they did not have the display in stock, they placed an order. They asked me to use the vehicle as usual and they would fix the new one when the replacement arrives. Weirdly, after driving for around 50kms and parking it under sunlight, the display started working again. I tried moving the wires underneath it, pressing the buttons and tapping it but the display does not turn off. I have been using the bike for couple of days and the display is working normal. Now I'm thinking wether to replace it or not. Just sharing my experience here so that I will feel confident to skip the replacement if any others have experienced same.

- Both Yamaha YZF R15 V3 and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V are great options. However, selecting one would depend on your certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, performance figures, usage of the bike, etc. The R15 v3 remains one potent small-capacity supersport for beginners. In its version 3.0 guise, it has become sharper and more focused, making it great for sport riding or track enthusiasts. However, the aggressive riding stance could cause discomfort if you intend to use the bike for daily commuting. On the other hand, the Apache RTR 160 4V is a brilliant offering from TVS stable and offers great ride quality, good handling dynamics, a performance-packed engine and a feature-rich instrument console. The overall package and reasonable pricing make it a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. - As per your requirement, we would suggest you to opt for the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. With the BS6-compliant iteration, TVS has made sure it is still as sprightly as ever despite the slight drop in power and torque figures. The overall package and reasonable pricing make it a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment. On the hand, the Pulsar 150 offers likeable performance with a hint of brashness. However, it isn't a value for money offering and it does miss out on modern features. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. - The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has passed a quality-control order which will ban the manufacturing and sale of non-BIS helmets from June 1, 2021. BIS is the Bureau of Indian Standards, the institution authorised to issue ISI marks on helmets and other goods. Unfortunately, there are a couple of downsides here. Firstly, the ISI standards aren’t all that high anyway, and secondly, the government refuses to acknowledge the existence of superior international helmet standards such as ECE and DOT, which far surpass ISI. Even if these helmets exceed ISI standards, it makes very little sense for a global manufacturer to go through all that trouble to homologate its helmets for just one country where it’s only going to sell a few hundred of its helmets. Instead, homologating helmets for the two much more widely accepted ECE and DOT standards allows the manufacturer to sell its helmets in dozens of countries worldwide for much less headache. We hope this new ruling will not limit the availability of genuine world-class helmets and force us all to buy only ISI-approved helmets.

- I am also facing the same issue.
- So my issue has been resolved by the service center guys recently, of course after having a lot of issues. Thankfully one of the technician was aware of this issue. So the fix was basically a software update of the FI system. And after that the bike has become more smooth and not more engine shutting off. So if you are going to the service center with the same issue and the technicians are not getting the issue exactly then you can suggest him to do this. There is something like a 4 port usb under the seat which the technician connected to to something and updated it from his mobile only.. If there is no issue anywhere else still your bike is facing the same issue then you can try this.
- Even i am facing the same issue and my bike is only 9 months old. After recent servicing i am facing this and it is not even like every time i am facing this issue. The bike engine shuts off while deaccelerating and change gear even if the clutch is pressed. Service center guys don't have any clue as the asked me to change the clutch cable. Any suggestion would be really helpful.
- I have the same issue...i have visited the showroom...they will update fi software but still i am facing somtimes the same issue of switch off... Even my bike display meter is somtimes stop working....but the technician didn't find out the proper solution of it... Can plse suggest me from where i can fix it. If authorised service centre didn't find out the way tosolve.
- The best bike as per your requirements will be Royal Enfield Classic 350. It delivers decent power and offers great comfort for both pillion and rider. And now, it is available with the option of Dual Channel ABS to. However, it attracts a bit more maintenance cost as compared to other options. Apart from it, you may look for Hero Xtreme 160R and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. Talk about getting it right. The hero has managed to tune the brakes on the Xtreme to near perfection. It offers adequate brake bite and feedback through its levers and allows you to slam on the brakes and bring the bike to a dead stop a couple of meters before the RTR 160 4V. The difference in braking distances could be attributed to the RTR’s extra heft. Moreover, its brakes are known to lack progression and feel spongy which doesn’t inspire confidence. Even the ABS calibration on the Xtreme works better than the RTR. Pillion riders will find the Xtreme’s raked seat a little harder to get onto compared to the RTR’s flatter single-piece unit. It’s also shorter which ends up feeling a bit cramped. Moreover, reaching out to the bike’s grab handles, which are positioned under the rear quarter panel, feels a bit unnatural and takes some time getting used to. The RTR’s seat is long enough to easily accommodate the rider and pillion without throwing a fit. It isn’t as sharply inclined as the Xtreme either which makes it a lot more comfortable. The grab handles are positioned more conventionally and have more surface area for better grip. So ultimately selecting one boils down on your priorities. You may compare all these bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Thanks Zigwheels author for the suggestions. Yes, I agree Royal Enfield is a good choice, had owned the old CI engined Electra 4S earlier. The maintenance part is the issue. Also, the cost is almost Rs2 Lakhs for new one. I will either go for RTR1604v or RE Classic 350. I had rode Apache RTR 180 for 11 years. Wonder, which one is better RTR 160 4v or RTR 180 2valve model?
- Both Honda XBlade and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V boasts brilliant and attractive design and selecting one would depend on your personal preference. The Apache RTR 160 4V BS6 comes with an aggressively styled streetfighter design language with clean lines all over. The minimalist graphics play an important role in making the motorcycle look premium too. On the other hand, the XBlade looks sharp and chiseled. The aggressive sculpted tank gets small but prominent tank extensions and the robotic face gives it a mean look. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- As per your description, we would suggest you to get your bike's clutch plates gearbox and front shockers checked at authorised service centre. Check out authorised dealership details. In terms of calm and city commutes, you may shift the gears 1-2-3-4-5 around the speed of 0-20-30-45-60kmph respectively. However, if you want to ride fast on the highway, you may shift the gears around 7500rpm.

- As per your requirements, we'd suggest you to go with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. The overall package and reasonable pricing make it a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment. On top of that, the bike offers brilliant handling traits, great ride quality, comfortable seating position and a performance-packed engine. On the other hand, Hero Xtreme 160R could prove to be a great option as it has the styling, performance, and dynamics to take on the competition. However, its pricing will be crucial to make an impact on the segment. Also, it is the lightest bikes in the segment which makes the manoeuvring in the city, an easy affair. - I have a similar requirement as yours (in the question), and have test-ridden hero Xtreme 160R, as well; along with the options mentioned above, this is what I noted. With the reviews and verdicts from almost every major auto channel, it was an obvious run. To my surprise, I couldn't find the 'sporty' (rear set foot-pegs) on the Apache RTR 160 4v as comfortable as other bikes - however, TVS's offering was the best in the segment, before the BS6 norms pushed in, due to lower kerb weight and the power figures. The ride quality and handling are superb, plus a decent fuel economy is a pro.Given that I found the ride a bit too tiring for my wrists, and a Honda showroom was next in line, I drove the Hornet 2.0. You hop on to its saddle, and you feel a certain correction in the posture - an upright, wide handlebar setting, with mildly rear-set footpegs, make you stay easy, even at higher speeds - the suspension setup is on the firm side though - the higher cost and the lower fuel economy are the only cons that I could measure at the moment.Next, Hero extreme 160R was a similar offering, just with a refined but slightly weaker engine than the Hornet 2.0 - you miss the pull from the engine to go up and rev it higher - the bike is nimble and a very capable handler of bad roads too. Fuel economy is quite similar to TVS's just the braking improves with the lower weight figures. For the final option, I went in to drive the FZ-S V3 - It was a DELIGHT - you sit even more so relaxed than on any of the previous bikes, and the ride quality is plush! Given that I was riding it right after the previous two, the motor felt far too refined for even the Hornet to match. Better economy and festive deals made it a better choice for me - given the quality, comfort being better than what I had tested and the cost was considerably lower than the other options. The only question that I have in mind is 'How long is the FZ going to continue in India?'; given that spare parts vanish out of Indian markets, as soon as the bike is discontinued. In my opinion, if you prefer an easy-riding style and economy and comfort are a priority, go with Yamaha's 'Lord of The Streets'. Hornet 2.0 also makes a better option if the budget allows, too.

- All these bikes are good enough and easy for pocket to maintain. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been the benchmark when it comes to 160cc motorcycles. With the BS6-compliant iteration, TVS has made sure it is still as sprightly as ever despite the slight drop in power and torque figures. The overall package and reasonable pricing make it a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment. In nearly every aspect, except maybe ergonomics and braking, the Yamaha FZS-FI v3.0 fails to impress. While its motor offers better fuel efficiency compared to the previous-gen model, it lacks grunt. If you have around Rs 1 lakh to invest, you're better off with other options. if you are looking for better power performance, build quality, good features and a more stable bike, you may go for Hornet 2.0. It is comfortable enough and gets a refined and smooth engine too. If we talk about Honda Unicorn, it has always been the go-to bike if you were planning to buy a 150cc commuter. The BS6 update has given the bike a larger motor, while retaining the dynamics of the older bike. It still remains a well-rounded motorcycle, but the BS6 update has come with a hefty price hike. You may compare all these bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

- This Apache comes equipped with TVS Remora tyres at both ends: a 90/90-17 upfront and a 130/70-17 at the rear. But that rear rubber is only offered on the rear disc brake variants, as the rear drum variant gets a 110/80-17 rear. But put the bike through its paces and it’s clear that this RTR 160’s handling prowess is down primarily to the chassis and suspension setup, because the tyres are average at best. Hats off to TVS for engineering such a brilliant setup, which we think should feel even better with better rubber. To be honest, the brakes were a bit of a disappointment. The front brake lever feels spongy and there’s almost no feel from it. Even the bite is not all that great. In fact, a couple of times, under very hard braking, we got a massive brake fade. While we don’t believe that these brakes will be an issue for everyday use, if you’re riding hard and fast, such as on a racetrack, you will need to recalibrate braking distances in your head. Though we haven't tested the bike in wet road conditions, it requires more cautious riding. In our road test, it delivered 50.9kmpl in the city and 56.1kmpl on the highway. Also, mileage will depend on factors like riding style, road traffic conditions etc. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Just done 1st service and odometer reading is 481 kms, the bike's mileage is about 36 km/l in the city. I stay at Kolkata and my driving is only in the city limits. As I haven't completed 750 kms so my speed limit is 50 km/hr and still getting that kind of poor mileage. Don't know how 50 km/l mileage is achieved.
- My bike before 2nd service on 4000 rpm got 63 kmpl with pillion on highway
- TVS Apache RTR 160 4V gets a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back.

- Selecting a bike would depend on certain factors such as budget, fuel economy, features required, preference of the segment, ride quality, etc. Moreover, if you are looking for a 200cc motorcycle with sharp styling, great handing dynamics and friendly power delivery then the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V could prove to be a great option. - It would not be wise idea to exchange the engine of Apache RTR 160 4V with the Apache RTR 180 as the bike's design and underpinnings are best suitable for the 159.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that Apache RTR 160 4V offers. If you are looking for a bike in 180cc segment with comfortable ride quality, healthy mid-range performance, decent power figures, and premium underpinnings then the Hornet 2.0 would be a great option. Whereas, if you are looking for a bike that has been dominating the 160cc segment with its performance, ride quality, feature rich console, and offers a good value for money, then the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V would be the one to choose. - If you are looking for a bike with outright performance, great ride quality
- TVS Apache RTR 160 4V features a 12 L fuel tank and the last fuel indicator bar starts blinking when there is around 1-2 Litre fuel left in the fuel tank. Moreover, the Fi engine eliminates the reserve capacity as there is no option available to switch the fuel source.
- Initially, it is advised to keep the bike speed in economical speed limits for first few hundred kilometres or until the first service as the fuel lines and mechanism gets accustomed to the bike. If you rev the bike hard and ride it at higher speed, that would not cause much damage, however, it might effect the overall fuel efficiency of the engine.
- Yamaha MT 15 offers a decent amount of room and will be comfortable for an average-sized pillion however, the seat is fairly hard and could be challenging during long distances. On the other hand, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V offers decent seats and room for the pillion and rider, however for the pillion, the foot pegs are set a little higher compared the MT 15 that results in fatigue if ridden for a longer time period. The overall comfort would be better on the Yamaha MT-15. Moreover, comfort is something that should be judged personally, thus we would suggest you to connect with the nearest authorized dealership and take a test ride of the bike. - 2500-3000 km
- Yes ..agree to mr Atul....Its a race bike for the roads.please see posts on service and maintenance..avoid big potholes and very bad roads.
- Mileage is great in highway i get 49_50 at 70kmph and on mixed condition i got 42-45
- Mileage is little low but comfort is world class
- Both are good take test drive and see your self
- What Mileage can expect in city and highway on 60-90 speed???
- What is the milage of BS6 varient?
- City- 45 kmpl, highway 50-55
- Usually the oe batteries i.e., the batteries that comes in the bike will have only one year warranty.
- The battery warrenty is of the battery manufacturing brand and not of TVS. The warranty if of a year
- Generally its 12 months but check the booklet
- No kind of engine related issues.
- Nope
- Check it in your battery compartment
- You will get 12V, 9AH Battery in tvs Apache rtr 160 4v
- Exide
- It costs alot...i asked about it and for the single channel abs you have to pay around 20k rs..
- Due to more pover and milage..but the truth is...there is very small increase in numbers that you cant actually detect while riding!
- The only difference is that in single disc we get 110 section rear tyre and in double disc we get 130 section rear tyre and according to that there won't be any noticeable mileage difference.
- No difference but of fi and carburetor systems
- The answer lies in your question
- Yes
- Yes
- Yes
- No vehicle is available because of the lockdown
- Yes it is available
- Ask the retailer
- Apache 200 ki resell value bekar h apache 160 se.. aur mileage b 32-35 ki h aur service mehangi h kuch jyada fark nahi h dono me..I'll not suggest..... iske jagah fz25 dekh lo
- Go ahead but be ready to hit petrol stations
- I don't think its possible!
- Bro, the same happened with me too. If the weather is cold where you live, try using choke and then give it a kick start. It should roar to life within 5 kicks, then you can turn the choke off after it has started. If this doesn't solve the, I suggest you to contact your nearest service center. Mostly this problem arises in the morning when you start the bike for the first time in the day. After that, it starts normally. When the weather gets warmer day by day, you wont need a choke. The engine shall start within 2-3 kicks, as it does for me now.. ;)Please do share the feedback! :)
- Yes its definitely an issue bro...maybe regarding your battery..go to the dealership and ask them to check the actual problem...they will do so without any payment...and don't worry bro..you bought a beast..once you get it done..you are ready to rule the steets...btw congratulations foe your new purchase
- The spark plug has to be cleaned again. Please take it to the showroom you bought and show it. They will fix it for free. Winter is not a problem(unless it goes less than 10c). A new bike shouldn't have a starting problem.
- Yes you can do it but you need to give its engine a service...or rather go with a high cc bike
- Both are good but apache 1604v has much less vibrations
- Yes..its the best thing about this bike..this bike is butter smooth in terms of riding...
- Yes.. definately go for it
- On paper its written that this engine can go 60000 kms without any problem...it certainly depends on how you take care of that machine
- The fi version is a low demand version..you need to reach out for a registered showroom and then you have to order one .then they will make a request for a special fi model for you..
- Don't know about where you can get it done..but according to me yes its possible...the pillion grip is removeable..and its can be done by removing two screws under the seat..
- Yes definitely ..go to a service centre ASAP...
- No only three are available..red blue and black
- Yes...if you drive like that you can't even feel the vibrations of engine..its the most refined engine tvs has ever manufactured... seriously..i also drive between 50-60kmpl and believe me.its the best!
- Yes it is available in 160 4v but not in 2004v
- Available in BS4 but not available in BS6
- Is that kick available in bs4 rtr 160??
- When the speed touches 95 KMPL it tends to have some vibrations, but that is very minimal..
- Both the bikes are a great option for you if your priority is only height.
- No, it doesn't have. Bluetooth feature is ONLY available in '200 4v BS6' as of now, that costs around 1.6 Lac onroad bangalore
- When will launched in India apache 160 4v bs6 Bluetooth speedometer bike..?
- When will launched in India apache 160 4v bs6 Bluetooth speedometer bike..?
- Yash...I would suggest that you should go for Apache RTR 1604v
- 4v Is better
- Gixer
- Better milage in apache...with good engine life.. atleast better than pulsar
- That is you gear shift indicator bro..you have to set it up properly....and it tells you to reduce speed thats all!
- Red buten ka mtlb
- No... custom colors aren't available
- Yes it is convenient enough.....i ride about 120 kms per day...and i have no problem with the bike...and if you drive properly it can give you 41kmpl in cities
- At max it can go upto 1 lac 20k..date is not certain
- Yes..its available in the whole country!
- Your milage is only decided by your driving style, the engine oil and the type of petrol you are using....i ride between 50-60 kmph and using tvs tru 4t engine oil with indian oil premium petrol...getting the milage of 42 kmpl in cities and 44-45 on highways!!
- In any tvs dealeship..you can find one
- Milage- 42 in cities and 44-45 on highwaySerivce cost- can vary from rs 900 to rs 1600Cons- it can get really dirty in rainy seasons and also your shoes will go dirty too and halogen bulb is not that bright.Pros- except the above cons every thing can be counted as pros!!
- If you ride properly then ofcourse rtr can stretch to a better milage than fz v2
- Apache RTR 160 10W-30 is recommended engine oil grade. Castrol POWER1 4T 10W-30 (or) Motul 3100 4T 10W-30 is most used Engine oils for TVS Apache RTR 160. Thanks, Rajarajan
- Go for 10W 40 as it provides better higher temperature riding than 10W 30. My suggestion is 10W 40 Castrol Power 1 Synthetic oil (costs around 500/- for 1.2 lit with 3000km drain interval)
- Apache RTR 160 4v 10W-30 is recommended engine oil grade. Castrol POWER1 4T 10W-30 (or) Motul 3100 4T 10W-30 is most used Engine oils for TVS Apache RTR 160 4v. Thanks
- No rtr 160 4v is only available in single channel super moto abs, no sure about the slipper clutch, and the top end is 125
- No single channel abs only
- I don't no
- Mileage within 60 close to 55kmpl and above 100 close to 40
- Even I too thought of choosing Apache only, but cost wise not that much diff bro.. only very less price diff, but durable is Yamaha only , even after 5 years of riding Yamaha bikes, it won't go down and won't get vibration and all, but Apache and pulsar will give more vibration.. I was having TVS bike oly before my Yamaha FZ-S V3.. performance also fine only...Before going with Yamaha FZ-S V3, I have checked a list of bikes like RE Thunderbird, RE Bullet classic, Apache 160v4, Apache 200, Yamaha FZ-S v2 and V3, Bajaj Pulsar 160, even Honda Hornet also I have tried. Decided Yamaha FZ-S V3 finally.. took around an year (From Jan 2019 till Nov 23, 2019) ... 😄😄Moreover Apache is Indian made so cost must be lesser than Yamaha which is getting imported and tax duties must be high.. I didn't meant to say Indian bikes are cheaper and Yamaha is good bcos of Foreign made.. but it's a fact... If you consider there is some value for engine and durability of it, go for Yamaha or else Honda bikes than TVS and Bajaj bikes... 😊
- TVS APACHE 160 4V IS BEST
- Agreed
- More refined engine, higher milage and display with white back-lit and gear position indicator.
- Smoothness,milage,new console
- Mileage
- In next session (June 2020) I am planning to leh laddakh on my Apache RTR 160 4V. Till now I completed 9000 km in just 6 month and I feel that this bike can do anything and can go anywhere. hope this will help you.
- Thanks a lot. Yes this is very helpful for me because i am planning to buy this next year and I'm confused between rtr 160 4v and rtr 200 4v.
- I think the apache rtr 160 4v can do long travel. Since I didn't go for a long I can't say it confirmly.
- No white colour..its actually blue color which have white coloured tail...its also a great combination but i prefer red and black combination
- Mera Apache 160cc 4v Ka h exchange kerke old model apache Lena h plz help me
- Mera Apache 160cc Ka h exchange kerke new model Lena h
- Ask your nearest dealer
- Yes its possible but it will be counted as an modification which ultimately ends your manufacturing warranty..also its a very costly process
- Its not about your weight bro..its about your height...if you are about 5 ft. 3 inches..do can easily handle this bike
- Its good for long rides but i suggest you to have cusioned seat cover..it will help you more
- Its because of some loose connections...go to the tvs workshop nrea you..they will correct it
- See every thing in this world needs maintenance...not only service but they needed to be clean daily with a cloth and much more...if you keep your machine clean...it will last longer than you🤣
- Yes but all those version having '4v' added at their end like 1604v or 2004v doesn't have that much vibrations...these are quite stable and silent on higher speeds like 75kmph
- Its good for tall riders too
- For all your questions the answer is no...and for milage..it gives me about 40kmpl in cities and 44 kmpl on highways....but for fuel injection its 42 in cities and 45 on highways
- In cities it gives me about 40kmpl and on highways it gives about 44kmpl....i have red one because i like the red-black combination..you can opt anyone...all three colours are perfectly fine
- Ans1- go check you nearest dealershipAns2-that is a manufacturing defects limited to some models only....and if this happens to anybody then they can get it replaced free of cost under warranty
- You can opt for apache 1604v, fz 3.0 or suzuki gixxer sf....all these provide good milage
- I don't think so...it lasted 18k km without any problems ... I just replaced it for a long trip.
- No they are just some defects limited to some models of 1604v.,...mine is working fine...
- You can easily ride the fzs, rtr 1604v and pulsar 150.........XBlade is somewhat for tall peoples
- For prices you can either check online or visit your nearest dealer...and fi version can give about 41 or 42 in city and can go upto 44-45 on highways in terms of milage
- Yes both terms are different...gear shift indicator is present on evey apache model whether its 160 or 200, carburettor or fi model....its just a red led light present over the odometer...on the other hand gear position indicator is only present on 2004v models..its a number present on the left of the odometer screen
- 1604v can do about 40 kmpl in cities and 44 on highways....a person with your height can comfortably ride any bike...rest the choice is yours
- Well buy one and just experience your answer....no doubt suzuki gixxer sf is a nice option...but on the other hand..apache 1604v is one hell of a bike!
- Nope but u will feel 160 to be taller than 200 I don't know why
- In every 2 months you should take your bike to the service
- Nope..its okay...can vary from 1000 rs to 1500rs
- Yeah sure..go for it
- No you will get only Remora...but in workshop you can actually but set of Pirelli tyres which is only reserved for 2004v
- You can go to your nearest showrooms...they will tell you actual price accordingly to your city RTO
- Yes..its compulsory for all vehicles
- Yes its a sports + daily commuter bike..thanks to 4valve engine...there are 3 colours...black, red and blue....price can vary around 90k to 1 lac 20k
- I like Honda design and comfortable
- I like Honda design and comfortable
- Go for the Apache 160 4v
- It has two types of cooling1. Oil cooling- there is a pipe present in front of the engine through which hot oil passes and get cools down back to engine2. RAM air assist- 160 4v is designed in a way that when you ride it, maximum air is rammed through engine and radiator present beneath the neck of the bike
- Both are present
- Oil cooled
- Its a technical questions...you must visit to your nearest dealer and ask them
- May be but not clear
- No I think
- I dont think that ns160 can give you 45kmpl in cities also...🤣🤣
- Rtr 160 or hornet will suit you
- Change your engine oil
- Yes its available all over india
- Both bikes are good...its upto you which one do you want..i choose 1604v because of its looks
- I chose 160 4v because of its performance, in every aspects, it's far better than fz
- Fi varient generally comes to the showrooms on special demands...talk to your nearest showrooms dealers
- Yes FI is available
- Milage is good..it can go as high as 44kmpl..no engine or chain overheating issue
- Bike engine heating problem hero Xtreme 160r
- Bike engine heating problem hero Xtreme 160r
- Yes an ABS model is present.. visit your nearest showroom
- As per showroom if they can give as a regard otherwise you can purchase it from local market and helmet will given by showroom but they will add it's cost
- No, you won't get any additional parts like.: Rain cover & Bike cover & Helmet..etc
- No raincover included...only a service book, some tools and a medikit
- Yeah..is on the left of the odometer
- 1604v is my first bike also..and believe me..its been a year and she hasn't disappointed me yet being a 160cc bike
- There is only single advantage which is if you take long tours on your bike like delhi to shimla then any mechanic can work on your bike's engine...fi engine is a bit more complex to operate due to extra sensors in it
- 159.somthing...you can checkout on actual tvs website
- Abs is always better but i owns the disc only..and haven't crashed once in a year... although it also depends on how you actually drive
- Yes. Refer your owners manual for more details.
- Your battery is out of charge..go get an new one
- Your bike runs into low battery
- Dont know that...but i guess its kind of hard that they will do that because it will be counted as violation of the company 2 years manufacturing warranty....hope they will upgrade
- TVS doesn't currently offer Bluetooth console for new Apache 160 4V. So there is no option for upgrading older ones
- I was also thinking same no answer this comment.
- It depends on which varient will you select...and from which area you select it...i bought the dual disc with out ABs from u.p. and with 5 years full cover insurance, i paid about 1 lac 20 thousand
- It will be around 1.25 to 1.27 lakhs
- Yes defetnly you can add smart conect in Apache 160 4v ... All new Apache 160 4 v is available with smart conect with ABS with carburetor bs4 variant in Nepal it's mens you can add separately.
- No...i guess its not that easy...you will need an ECU to have all the features of smartxconnect... although im not fully sure about that
- May be not it is main thing now that differentiate 160 and 200 will be clear when the sales start
- No major changes except the fi engine instead of carburettor engine..with a 1604vfi sticker on the side of tail
- Rear tyre, instrument console, gear position indicator
- Dude, the first servicing date has been past long. It's 500 kms or 1 month, whichever is earlier. Heck, by now you should have completed your 3rd servicing. My one is 2 months old only, and first 2 services have been done. Please visit service center.
- Maybe silencer problem get it checked and disturb sound is called back fire which is normal
- I want to recommend you apache 160 4v , As it is very fuel efficient for a 160 cc with that much power returns me 44+kmpl , Its low on maintanence never had any trouble with the bike , you should atleast Have a test ride of the bike as for the height i cannot be sure to comment
- See if you want a sporty looking commuter which can actually give a sporty ride somtimes then go for apache 1604v...and its maintenance will be about rs 1000 to 1500 per month....otherwise if this is costly for you then go for ns160
- Apache will be a good option for you..... And you you want more option under 1 lakh then fzs v3 is much better option with much refined engine but a slight low powerful than apache
- See in all 160cc segment apache can deliver decent amount of comfort as you\'ve stated that you drive 170 km a day...i also drive 120km per day but ive never felted any fatigue or cramps in my back....and fz 3.0 , honda hornet 160, ns160 are also some fine suggestions
- Apache is better option because engine of Apache is rough and tough with low maintenance cost go for it..
- For comfortable u can go for pulsar or FZ
- 4v gives 45+ in city coz of short gearing and gixxer is tall gear so highway is + for gixxer it depends on how u ride as well
- Which bike can I buy in daily use
- Maybe by mid 2020 the bike had spotted testing
- India market ma Apache 160 4v power full bike. Curburator bike &blue white mixing colour abs version india fer se la ana chiea fi India market ma nahe chalaga
- It's mentioned in the FI version plus it has a white console light for the FI version and orange display in carburettor
- On the tail..there is a sticker present saying whether it is normal(carburettor) or the fi version!!
- Yes, Every Vehicle need as per Govt Regulations. But during new byke purchase it's not required.
- Every Vehicle after one year of purchase should have a pollution certificate as per the law.
- Every vehicle needs pollution certificate.
- Its avious that fi version is more fuel efficient and good in performance.... But in India the services in good for carburettor in TVS and not of fi.
- Dear yash, I also use to travel approx 100km per day due to my job. I never feel that bike is not able to do it even some times I get tired but bike performance is best. you can go for it and take a test ride as it suits you or not.suggestions:- 1. if you are traveling 100km per day then use gloves which help you to relax you right palm during riding and will not gain any pain. some times red mark occur on palm due to continues pulling the accelerator. glove will save you from tharide safe brother
- Sir now my daily running on the highway and also city with very bad road condition is more than 170 km per day so which 150.cc bike is great and also 160 pls answer me
- It depends which pulsar you are talking about. And for long rides you want a machine which is powerful then 1604v is best in class I travel 45 per day and it's smooth.
- The old model is BS4 compliant. However TVS has updated the bike to BS6 model. If there is left over old stock, you will get BS4 model.
- Not much..but it does get dirty if you drive in rainy seasons...also your shoes are going to be f****d also🤣🤣
- Bs6 bt its better than the bs4 in my opinion... Visit the nearest showroom and take it for a spin
- It would be comfortable provided you have the strength to handle the bike
- Sit in the bike and adjust posture ..good luck
- Its good because you are having good height
- Yes you need to make the pollution letter for Apache RTR 1604V as per the new rules of the government
- After 12 months of purchase you have to keep a PUC with you.
- Yes.after one year of new vehicle purchase.
- I would suggest apache 160 4V, it gives you good performance and also a very stylish bike than pulsar neon.it is great for traffic rides. I would go for it.
- Single Disc is good n rest r waste of money
- Obviously dual disc ABS
- Dual disc abs
- Go for 4v
- Both bad
- I own a 160 4V and I got to say this is perhaps the best option in this price range, considering the looks, performance, mileage and all. This machine has got an awesome stability and sticks to the road. You will never feel losing control of it even at 110+ kmph. Mileage is decent, considering the performance. Electricals could have been added but still it does well with what it's got. When it comes to braking, I have read in many reviews that its braking is not that crispy, but honestly I have never complained about the brakes. Well that's my opinion regarding the 4V. Hope it helps!
- 100%
- Probably the rpm is set on little high bihar the same issue during service it was fixed or u can adjust it on your own as well.
- Well, there is no guarantee that u ll get a definite milage of 50kmpl as many conditions and variables come into picture when u ride. every user here has diff exp. some got 40-45 kmpl others received 30-35kmpl riding the same bike. fi or carb version may have little milage difference but 50kmpl not sure. regarding others things u mentioned please think about the budget as well before u invest.
- Bike is best in the segment.. I have Purchased FI verient.. But 160 4v will not give you 50Kmpl in daily commute..It may give you upto 45to50/52 in highwaysbtw if you buy this bike you will not regret in getting 40-45 kmpl because its a beast in this segment no one can beat this race Machine..
- It will gives you an average of 40-43. Not more than that. For best average go for Platina, CB Shine, Star city & Splendar. These all bikes will give you average more than 50 kmpl.
- It's fuel injection system version other is carburetor version. Fi gives better milage.
- The fuel injection variant is EFI it has no major difference when compared to carb.
- Fuel injection. It's the mechanism by which fuel is put into engine cylinder
- In terms of mileage pulsar 150 is unbeatable.....but rtr 160 4v looks good and new....but if you say that your only concern is mileage then pulsar is the one for you....it can easily commute in cities and also perform good in weekend rides
- Mileage how much for rtr??
- 40.001
- I have ridden the bike for more than a year now and once a month i water wash my bike including the digital meter and not a smudge!
- Yes
- Yes
- Engine feels hot because it has external oil cooler and air passes over the cooler becomes hot and it hit your legs. So you feel engine is hot. IT'S quite normal no need to worry.
- I have apache 160 2v bs6 model and i feel roughness while riding also i feel the j**k while changing gears and reelasing the throttle...please if anyone can help me
- Till the first service, u ll feel the heat and a burning smell of the paint too
- The Apache lead the charge as its engine is the most refined unit in the segment by a fair margin. While the Apache is a quick bike, what it lacks is a bit of character as sometimes you feel it's a bit “too” refined. It does offer a throaty exhaust note that’s distinct and likeable though. On the open roads, its rivals feel stressed and vibey at triple-digit speeds, while the Apache feels calmer and more poised. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- It does vibrate post 6500 rpm but it's mild vibration you will not regret but if you wish more refinement go for 160 4v
- Its depend on maintenance
- May 2020
- Mar 2020
- Mar 2020
- You can see carb under fuel tank.
- 45
- But it as 4v and ram air intake so it is equal to this segment rival
- Depends on your use, if it's city ride best is FZ as it has good low end torque but lacks power produced by apache. So apache is the one if you do long rides also. Gixxer is a middle ground between both FZ and Apache. All these 3 are good with comparable milage and cost.
- Apache 160 4v or Gixxer
- Nothing so special it has performance c*m efficiency
- Speed, stability,control,value for money
- Bro.. due to addition of led headlamp... price wil be increased around 5k minimum.... soo u can condider it accordingly
- Apache 160 4v bs6 visor installation ho shkta h kiya
- I doubt it. If you drive less than 6000 rpm maybe you might get slightly above 50kmpl.
- No it will get around 45 to 50
- You will get 50+ milage
- I believe it should be around 1800 or so please gst and labour but check with service centre or tvs authorized spare part shop
- Go to the nearest tvs service centre they will let you do correct one
- Mere ko bhi lagna hai aapache 4v ka shokar 5000 bol rahe hai show room wale
- Same with me bro! Its been 3 months only, i went to the service centre, they said the sensor is not working, replaced it. But again the same after a week. I am never recommending TVS to anyone. My next bike will be a Japanese brand.
- Same with me bro! Its been 3 months only, i went to the service centre, they said the sensor is not working, replaced it. But again the same after a week. I am never recommending TVS to anyone. My next bike will be a Japanese brand.
- I have bought my apache 1 Month back but the engine malfunction light is always on. Even after 3 time on n off.is there something wrong with the bike??
- Go for pulsar 220 best in class bike
- No that is a problem , in my ownership i havnt faced such problem even when ridden for more than 30 kms
- I wear geans and thick shoe I usually dont feel any heat on my legs , I have done a non stop ride 80 odd km it heats normal .
- Until first service my bike too produced some heat near legs even for short rides, but it is gone after servicing
- Press Brake consciously
- Now abs Is Available
- Yes from upper side need to open fuel tank battery side pannel
- Yes from upper side need to open fuel tank battery side pannel
- No
- Yes I think I take
- Apache
- Better than hornet
- You will get upto 60 kmpl if you maintain your speed below 45kmph.
- 50 kmpl on highway and 40 kmpl in city
- 40
- I was facing the same problem , but service adviser said to after 3 servicing we will do millege test on that after that millege will increase.
- Please Use Motul 300 V2 Engine Oil
- Im giving you this info regarding the bs4 model...the top model of tvs apache RTR 1604v is the fi varient which can easily deliver 41kmpl in cities..and 45-46kmpl on highways depending on the driving style....the bs4 model is definitely better than fzs due to high torque and power...but with the bs6 varient things have changed quite a bit!
- 40 Kmpl in city better than any other bike
- Yamaha fz v3 us a good option for you..... Because it has broader rear tires.... But you can also go for apache rtr 160 4v
- Yes It is Best Option For you
- It depends how frequently do u ride ur bike. I get 32 -33kmpl coz in past 1 year I have ridden it for only 3000km only , but I know few riders who r getting close to 39kmpl. now both bikes u have asked about r different segments though cc r same but avenger has better milage and it's good for long rides, Apache will be better for city rides as it's pickup is little better.however test ride both for at least 10min and then decide.
- Yes sure the vehicle has much space towards the sides of the tank
- Yes
- Yes & I have 5'10" Height & i ride it Easily
- I recenty bought a TVS apache rtr 160 4v bs6. Its been hardly 4 months but my bike is having some issues. The engine automatically gets switched off while running. Doesnt happen always. Happens once or twice. I paid a visit to 3 service centres but the service centre guys seems to have no clue regarding the issue. I am fed up. Does any apache owner facing the same issue as mine ? If so, please kindly share your review and please let me know if you have found any solution to it. I searched the net..Some say we need to update the ECU if this kind of problems occur. I am confused
- Facing the same issue, I have other problems too.... The bike won't go beyond 80km/hr speed. After suddenly gets off in the middle of the road when I start the bike again it throws some white smoke. For the 1st 4-5 months the service centre guys said that it's nothing, it will go off after sometime. Today at 3rd servicing the service engineer said that engine piston may have some fault and drinking the mobil more than normal so need to replace it.
- Something bike run smooth but sometimes it start making noise and the rpm suddenly raise in 4 and 5th gear had to shift to 4rd gear to control bike then after pressing clutch in 4th gear rpm increases to 3000 to 3500, and then reduced slowly happened every time
- As apache 160 4v from my experience is a sporty plus city bike after few months you got a habit of driving it and about the mileage honda offer is best around 48kmpl to 50kmpl
- As apache 160 4v from my experience is a sporty plus city bike after few months you got a habit of driving it and about the mileage honda offer is best around 48kmpl to 50kmpl
- Rtr160 4v is a best option
- Mileage - approx - 45 kmpl Speed Max -114kmph15.6 bhp of power and 14.12 nm Good Design
- Ns 160, gixxer, FZ, hornet.
- Ns 160
- It's not better than ns 200
- Don’t buy this bike
- Ha yes according to our maintainance
- Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is better than RTR 4V for it's built quality and mileage
- Rtr160 4v
- It's most powerful 160cc engine
- It's doesn't have milage on higway around 40 in city around 35
- Honda x blade according to milage
- Yes apache 160 4v is way better than gixxer
- Apache RTR 1604V BS6 is the best
- No, both are different
- No
- No only black
- Fi can do 41-42 in cities with 45-46 on highways but on the other hand carburettor can do 38-40 in cities and 43-44 on highways depending upon the driving style...and yes its definitely better than v3.0
- Ha yes is better than yamaha carborater milage is 40 and fi is 35
- See, being an Apache owner I didn't face any major issues with the bike and I have driven Suzuki gixxer as well and driven experience is superb on Apache(for me). Still I suggest you to go and have a test drive of both the bikes. But I can tell you if proper care(includes service) is taken care of ,apache is a great choice to go with.
- Both are good..but apache certainly have more power and pickup but gixxer can provide you slightly better milage
- No gixxer is difficult to ride in cities but but Apache is best option for cities.
- Performance is awesome, but seat height is 800mm which is on the higher side. Might be slightly difficult for you
- Raj... you need to throttle the bike, don't pedal laike cycle.... this bike performance is very well... I think you don't know how to ride the bike...
- Hight is suitable bike performance is not good
- Ys
- You can take Apache RTR 160 4v or FZS V3 according to your needs
- You can but you should be careful with the weight or else bike will kiss speed-breakers on the road. Adding a pillion also depends on your skills
- Legally no, as it's not safe. but it depends on your riding skills if you can adjust with 3rd pillion rider.
- No never let u have try to ride in three members which person drive the bike that person facing some problem
- Bro you can go with any other bikes like passion pro if milage is your biggest need because bikes like fz, apache or gixxer cant deliver that much milage..these are commuter c*m sports bike.
- Pulsar 125
- Honda unicorn bike is perfect
- My tvs apache rtr 1604v BS4 routine service cost about 1000 rs per visit and cost of each replacement part is according to the norms of tvs itself...
- For free service they will take 900 rupees
- Max 1k min 200
- Apache 160 4vpulsar ns160Honda xblade
- Honda shine
- Yes
- If you are asking about the bs4 models the apache is the best between all of the above!
- Apache sports.& Fz muscular hulk look. These 2 are only best none any one
- Fz or 160 4 v
- My tvs apache rtr 1604v BS4 can deliver all of these...im getting a milage around 39-40 kmpl in cities riding with a nice stability...thanks to the wider wheelbase of rear tyre which is 130/70. It can go upto 120 kmpl at max and with a nice and punchy performance at low gears....i think its enough from a 160cc bike...
- Gixxer is the one. Apache 160 4v lags in mileage
- Bhai rider ko koi problem nahi hogi but haan pillion seat thodi height par hai to peeche baithne waale ko ajib to lagta hi hai..plus 2 se zayada iss bike pr aap bitha nhi skte ho
- Since it's a single seat it's recommended
- Good
- Ys u can plz contact the dealer
- It will be too costly and not sure if it ll be effective. better ask proper mechanics
- Yes you can add abs
- I am 5.9 and we are the perfect ones for this bike..its like this bike is made for us..
- Yes
- Yes
- EFI is a version which consists of ece boards and sensors which sense the amount of petrol to be sent to the engine depending on the power. Where as in carb version it is fully mechanical as in old bikes. The major difference is the EFI versions gives some point difference in mileage. I prefer the carb because it has only some minor difference.
- The number of sensors used in engines is different....sensors ensures the proper utilisation of every Last drop of fuel...thats why fi engine provides more milage
- Fi shows which gear you are in..has ECU which is required for Fi..and hence is costly.. moreover it has more power over the carb
- Saddle height adjustment is a doubt but you can change the handlebar height by custom mods...
- Its good bike for daily used for local area
- Sorry I don't know about that
- M is the coded for the weight it can carry , not mrf or ceat
- Which type of bias tyres used in RTR 1604v 2018 dual disc carburetor version. because there is" M" word written on my bike tyre with 130/70 ?
- MRF otherwise CEAT tyres
- If we compare Fi version of all bike then i think pickup of TVS Apache will be more, according to mileage 1st will be Hornet then Yamaha and then Apache but the difference will be only 4-5 kms.If we come to comfort i own Apache and i didnt find any problem with comfort, and for pricing you should contact dealers in the city.
- Need comment on Suzuki introduer B6 vs Appache RTR160 4V for maintenance free spares avilable, comfort and safety. looking for my colleage going son. pl suggest
- I will pick apache rtr 160 4v among these bikes because of its performance, comfort, mileage is average, and looks of this bike. Apache is surely one of the best looking bike in 160 cc segment and most powerful too. And also it is the most value for money purchase among these bikes.
- Fi means Fuel Injector instead of Carburator, ABS is Anti breaking System, which prevent vehicle from skidding, Improve braking,
- Dual channel
- Because it;s very smooth to ride at anywhere.please choose the ABS variant.
- I m not sure you have to ask it from workshop.
- Sorry, I don't know.
- I guess u can , I have done around 80km nonstop n didn't had any pain or aches , I am around 5.8" .
- Yes absolutely comfortable
- Great, It depends on your Height.
- Very nice bike in the city rides
- Thank your for your answer
- 5600/- already runned... But not showing for service what to do ??
- 6 month from purchase date or or at 6000 kilometres but
- 4000 km
- You need to be specific as to which model you are looking because there is gixxer 150's as well as 250's also the same for Apache. In case of 150's, Suzuki vehicles are extremely refined compared to Apachae but slightly low on power compared. you need to decide which you prefer. In case of 250's, Suzuki is 250 compared to apachae which is 200. the better case in any scenario be it power, handling, ride-ability or refinement is Suzuki.I would better suggest you to take a test drive of both before making the final decision, also you need to decide in case of Suzuki if it is SF or the std gixxers.
- Hey there !First i would like to tell you that GIXXER SF is a fully faired bike while APACHE 160 4V is a naked city commuter. So gixxer sf has hands on here as it has good aerodynamics. If you want a feel of big bike I'll definitely suggest you the GIXXER SF.NOW coming to on paper specsGixxer sf churns out 14.6 bhp at 8000 rpm and torque is 14 Nm at 6000 rpm.Whereas. Apache churns out 16.5 ps at 8000 rpmWhile torque is14.8 Nm @ 6500 rpm. While mileage of both the bikes remain nearly same at 45–50 kmplPlease take note that mileage depends on riding conditions too. Both the bikes are available with Fi as optional while gixxer sf also has ABS as option.Gixxer also has ABS option with carb variant. Thus becoming much feasible to buy.Apache has punchier engine than gixxer sf due to more power and slightly more torque but in terms of engine refinement GIXXER SF hold its place here.Gixxer sf also has better low end. mid range capabilities than apache 160 4v
- Both are good. It depends which type of riding you prefer. Both mileage are same nearly 35 to 45 in city ride. You can choose your style based on looks. Apache is more sporty than gixxer . Please go for a test drive that will help you to choose.
- Carburettor vehicles are usually cheaper and and any road side mechanic can maintain it.In case of any problem, disconnect the carb and dismantle it, clean it. Most of the problems will get solved. To increase milage or to push your engine to higher speeds all you need to do is adjust the fuel s***w and clean filters whenever required. But most of them are not compliant to BS IV.On the other hand, fuel injected (fi) are bit complicated. You would require a special piece of equipment for servicing fuel injector. If you find any problem with milage or speed, all you need to do is disconnect throttle body and injector, clean it and connect it back. Also in case of some anomalies, you need to service or clean the sensors as well. There are number of sensors, O2 sensor, temperature sensor, knock sensor, which all connect to ECU. And with combined efforts of tlall these, the first system runs. After a certain period of time you also may need to replace fuel pump which is costly as well. But if major problem arises you need to replace or reprogram the ECU, which is a tough task (reprogramming). Also ECU costs a lot, as it manages all the sensors and actuators (injector and throttle). As a conclusion, due to recent increase in sale of fi motorcycles, the prices may have got down but maintenance is as usual, costly. A low CC carb engine should always be preferred over higher CC fi engine.Hope you find your answer.
- Its basically the air-fuel delivery system to the engine. Carburetor uses the same old mechanical process for feeding the engine, whereas, FI or Fuel Injection uses an electronic system to feed the engine. FI is more accurate in controlling the flow into the engine, since it uses real-time data to analyse the condition and deliver fuel accordingly.

- No silencer issues, what did you came to know?
- Mera ek baar change ho chuk h
- Abhi 1yr bhi nhi hua bike ko
- Depend on your ride. If you ride bike at 50-60 km/h apache will give you 45+ average and hornet have low power so hornet will give you more average but i don't know too much about hornet. TVS service's is soo soo bad so I'll suggest you go for hornet not for apache. Apache is for Racing for 7-8 months after these months you realize ki mai Apache 160 4v nhi leta.
- Hornet is best in case of mileage but Apache engine has an heating issue and it's mileage also varies as per your acceleration although power is more in 4v than hornet but hornet is the best
- According to me 160 4v
- Apache is dangerous bike for spine.
- As per earlier Apache bikes there is Same riding postures in 160 4v and 200 4v
- I haven't faced anysuch problems yet... It feel comfortable while riding.
- I did 300 kms from pune to mumbai ( Return journey) just today. Extremely happy with the performance of the bike. One BIG disappointment is the seat. It made the later half very very uncomfortable as it is too stiff. Now I'm thinking about changing the seat.
- I have done 70 km non Stop on my bike and my experience was good , bike was stable till 80 kmph after crossing 80 kmph u ll find a little bit of vibrations on tank n foot peddle , not that annoying though .
- Yes my rides are generally more than 300 km
- Fi has white, carb has orange
- Orangish for carb varient and white for Fi varient
- Orangeish for carb , n white for fi variant .
- 200 % yes
- Best in performance but as per comfort it depends on ride short is better
- Yes it is best
- No it is only available in fi variant of 160 4v
- There is no gear indicater in 160 4v
- In carb variant it is not available.
- Yes... I am of same height and it is very comfortable while riding as well as in traffic.
- I'm same as ur height, and riding it since one year and its been a good ride
- Yes it is, but still test ride the bike and make ur own decision.
- If you like the new design of Apache 160 4v than go for it... better performance then ns 160
- Rtr 160 4v. In terms of all parameters...!!
- RTR 160 4V Lo eski power pickup ultimate he 160 ke comparison me . chaho to site pr compare kr lo
- I'm lean and 5.6" and riding 160 4v since last one year, its been breeze 👌🏼
- Is Apache RTR 160 4v suitable for silm boys
- Is Apache RTR 160 4v suitable for silm boys
- Depends Apache has comfortable seat, duke has straight hard seat. duke is quicker, has better milage, 6gears, but Apache has better comfort for both rider and pillion. long rides are good with Apache.
- Apache has great ride quality for touring as well as daily commut.. go for it
- Can't say but yes you will get more power and smooth engine
- Where are you riding the bike? in city or outside on highway? Pickup wise it's quicker, however top speed varies on your riding position and conditions I achieved 105 with my 160 4v. Average is around 30 34 kmpl
- Pick up best in the segment. Top speed is around 120. You can easily cruise at 90kmph
- Acceleration is moderate and top speed that I have achieved is 110-113
- I personally have gone 375km at a stretch. It still can do more... But I advice you to give the bike a 10min rest every 100kms.
- We can go nearly abt 350 to 400 kms in a stretch as per ur ridding position i alone reached 350 in one stretch
- Approx 200km as per my experience
- I'm 5.6 feet & I'm fully comfortable. You may feel a little discomfort while riding it. Because my friends who are between 5 to 5.3 feet, they also feel little discomfort while they can comfortably drive Yamaha FZ versions.
- Test ride to check if u r comfortable try to ride for at least 30min on busy road. you will get to know if u r comfortable and whether u should opt or drop the Apache idea.
- I'm 5.8 feet is that comfortable for me - Apache 160 4V?
- ABS means Anti lock brake system its control the speed smoothly. Any variant apache 160 4v with abs will be better for you
- Fi version for regular rider , abs is new standard feature to help u avoid skidding,
- ABS version is good in terms of braking ,go forf apache its very suberb bike
- TVS Apache 160 4v ABS is an excellent vehicle, in Pickup, Road grip, turning radius, mileage & Lightning....TVS is first to introduced ABS in Indian market and having good experience in ABS making... Good resale value than Hornet.
- If you need mileage, good braking than go with honda hornet but if you need performance and comfortable ride than choose apache.
- Rtr 160 4v would be the best option for you, even iam driving 60kms a day and its too good...
- About 40 km
- 40 to 45
- 38kmpl
- So it's 50km per side. The distance is normal as I travel the same distance or maybe more . My ride is in peak hours in gurgaon delhi noida traffic the pick up is good, slight discomfort in turning the bike out of small places maybe because of more turning radius, but pickup response is good. Seat is normal not too hard or too soft, m looking if that can be replaced.
- Not at all . It's kind of racing bike and you need to bent a bit while riding this horse and that can cause some problems on your back
- It's totally depend on your riding posture... I travel approx 75km daily and I don't get any ache in my body...
- U can go for dual disk its better and good control while riding
- Fi is more better than carburetor versions
- Fi model iiiiis best
- The poping sound is basically a backfire by the engine , which is nothing to worry about. If you've noticed, this same poping sound is quite louder on superbikes when they decelerate or rev match their bikes. I own an Apache 160 4v and to be honest I love that pop sound and though some may not like it that much but the Apache 160 4v is the only bike in its segment to put out that backfire sound . The bike grabs attention when I open the throttle to nearby commuters to when I rev match the bike to a standstill .
- Yeah, this is absolutely correct. i am having issue with silencer sound and showroom guys have assured me that they will be replacing the entire silencer assembly free of cost. My bike is 1.5 yrs old.
- Yes that poping sound come from the bike... but this is not the problem actually it is known as flame, which comes from almost all bikes,in some bike it is easily recognized like in Apache and in some it is not recognizable.
- 500-750 km
- 500 to 750 kms
- You are saying that apache has quality issue , it is build so good with high quality parts ....
- No, single bag carry very difficult on this bike
- Not sure, take Test ride, n decid.
- The engine is better compare to fz but the comfort position and seat are good in fz about mileage i don't know exactly
- RTR 160 4v not available in customer at road so for millage calculation no not possible
- 160 4 v very bogus bike and cost is very high according efficiency of the bike
- Both of these qualities are pros for the 1604v...at low speeds with helmet on...you actually can't detect whether the bike is on or off
- In teem of milage hornet gains a plus point in terms of smooth ride both are similar
- Tvs Apache 160 4v
- If you maintain bike well go for it
- Apache 160 4v
- Apache
- No vibrations begin to start when it reaches 10000rpm..thats normal for every single cylinder bike.. Until that no vibrations
- No ,as per ur driving the vibration works in any mode of bikes,,inadaquate or harsh drivings only cause vibrations.
- Yeah. After a 6 month use u may start feeling vibrations.
- No, u can't bro because this bike having many problems. aap 15months hi hi jaan jaoge problems
- Absolutely u can use it for 15 or more years with proper maintenance
- Nope it won't be able to withstand 5 years. Bcoz of its low quality
- TVS Apache RTR 160 4V bahut hi bakwas bike nikali hai TVS Company sirf paise kama rahi hai , bhai sahab apka engine heat ho raha hai , meri bike to 9000 kms me hi engine seej ho gaya hai . TVS naye naye model nikal rahi hai lakin uske purje tak bare -bare show room/service center mein supply nahi kar rahi hai. mere pas hero honda ki 09 saal (2010) model hai issye to thik hai maintenance bilkul kam hai . Meri taraf se service dene ke mamle mein sabse niche hai TVS company.
- Bhai 1st always make sure ki aapka engine oil is as per users manual any low quality will cause issues, also quantity check karwao, make sure air vents r clean, little heat is expected it won't stay warm, try few km with average speed of 40-50km if it still heats up check for obstructions if any. otherwise service centre hai hi.
- Always be checked engine oil grade ..
- Yes it's perfect for you and go to test drive for your satisfaction
- Yes you can comfortably ride this bike
- Better to have a test drive..!!!
- R15 is different, and Yamaha made that differently and yamaha have much more experience compare to tvs and you have to pay for that much difference.but as you said that r15 beat 160 4v so for that much power and tech you pay almost 50k+ more compared to 160 4v.
- R15 V3 has 19.3bhp power which is very much more than apache rtr 160 4V. Also due to VVA technology R15 V3 offers more mileage than Rtr160 4V.
- R15 is tall geared and it has 6 gears
- Fuel Injection are good as it is more efficient, less emission and gives better performance.
- I need for bike from collage up down
- Any one else ?
- Apache rtr 4v
- Apache rtr 4v
- For me instead of shifting 2nd gear it goes on neutral you may contact your service center My problem is resolved now
- Apache RTR 160
- Service center
- It is a type of semi sports bike it is not built up to carry weight.but if your question is that you want your bike to be more powerful to carry more weight then try royal Enfield bike as they have more torque engine.
- Is it bad if sometimes we tripple seat when there’s no other options?
- Comfort both are comfortable but power 4v is the option
- Tvs engein is relaiable and also durable.I have riden 11500kms on 160 4v and I haven't faced any sound from any disc breaks (front or rear).and also head light is also good, it gives good lighting at night, till now I haven't faced any creepy sound from exhaust.but yes I am going to mechanic to tight up chain after 1000 or more kms.
- Yes im also having the same problems.Back disc is making noice when i apply brake on slow speed like 20-30km and the tail light problem is i have to push hard the brake and then it glows
- Yes the reviews are true the bike have these problems
- Keep ur bike speed and Rpm under recommended specs and u won't feel anything. Yes all 2 wheelers vibrate.
- Only when i cross 80kmph
- Yes but not too much
- You should check your choicewhat do you need in a bikePower , comfort , low maintenance , high pickup , good mileage or look If you are looking for power pack bike for racing go for 160NSIf you want decent mileage go for pulsar 150If you want latest design and engine with nice performance go for 160 4v If i would have been at your place I would choose 160 4v As it is apache segment ..Good luck
- Rtr 1604v is the best among those..no doubt!
- TVS coy and service centers only for earning money without labour, kahi bahar achhe mistry ko dikha lo .TVS ko saste mistry chahiye tatha paisa badiya chahiye . service center ke mistry ko inki bike ki khamiyon ke bare mein pata hi nahi hota hai.
- You can see the instrument cluster of the bike, it has a engine problem signal. As long as it doesn't blink, it's fine.
- It is normal bro...even if you compare other bikes like fz 3.0 or any other bike.the result will be the same...
- Yes but u r responsible for any fault.company no claim.
- Yes , sure you can ..
- Yes
- Rtr 160 4v has better milage than ns 160 because of that 4 valve engine
- Rtr is best
- Ns160 for build quality and maintenance
- Yes, I am owner of Apache rtr 160 4v dual disc carburetor variant. if you want to check that your bike is fuel injected or carb one then it is already written on your bike 160efi4v still you can't then on left of your bike under tank you will find a nobe for the fuel. if it is there then it is carb varient if it is not there then it is fi variant
- Speedometer color pleaseWhite fi and orange carb
- Thanks
- There is only on difference. in old 160 their is 2 valve in the engine for the intake of fule and out after combustion. but in new 1604v their is 4 valve used for intake and out due to that engine can breathe easily and engine will generate more power and torque.
- The major difference between the two is that the apache rtr 160 has 2 valves on the other other hand the rtr 160 4v has 4 valves
- The no. Of valves of engies is more in 1604v for air intake...hence better milage..better pickup
- Hi...I am owner of Apache RTR 1604v Dual disc ABS and I use my bike as a daily commuter. i use to travel approx 60 to 70 km on daily basis for my work. my bike is performing well and nice. no pain in back,no pain in wrist or any where. it also give milage of 50 approx,49 to be precised. it also look more muscular than pulsar and pulsar has same old look but this bike has new look in market. so I will suggest you to go for it. it will not disappoint you.
- If you are looking for complete package go for Apache 160 rtr Without any doubt I sure you will not regret
- Bhai ns160 shi h ek speed k chkkr m apache leke april fool mt bano or Payed review k chkkr m mat pdo
- Yes you can definately buy 1604v...but go with an extra soft cusion seatcover..it will help you
- Yeah it will suit you....
- Short height !!! In India 5.5-5.7 is the average height.... Majority of bikes will suit this height....
- No Problem Man. I'm 5.6 and my both foot touchs ground. 😜. Go for it.
- 5.5" is perfect
- Definitely the bike is capable of doing those distance, it comes to the rider and his willpower, unless you have a goal and covering long distance within short time might be less tiring for that higher cruising speed is required here the wind is not in favour to you as it is naked bike. so anywhere between 80-90 will be ideal for you. be scared of crosswinds from cars and big lorry that pass by you either it will push or pull you , at the end of the day not careful enough could make you smile in a photo frame to eternity
- It is. I have completed 485 KMS without any stops except at the petrol pump and 2 tolls.I didnt face any issue, the mileage was less at around 28-30kms (But, it was because I was cruising at 107 km/hr and occasionally riding at 114, 118 and 126 km/hr ;)
- 1000km, with short rest intervals is good, any bike can do that, but you may need to switch the seats to little more comfy as the seating for rider in my opinion isnt made for long distance
- Apache gives highest pick up among these 3 bikes, in hornet there are chain problems, it would be difficult to find the parts of Gixxer so better to go with apache
- Mileage is little bit lower otherwise jackpot for bike lovers
- Mileage is not good but road grip is good
- Perfect
- Apche mileage is 30-35 per litre and fz i don't no.....
- Apche 160 4v
- 160
- 160
- 160
- Bro i think you should go for a lower capacity motorcycle. May be buy a used splendor , shine or something. After 2 or 3 months getting some experience , go test ride both apache and fz . And decide yourself. I would choose the apache because of its performance. I have a 160 4v . But people say that yamaha bikes are far more relaible. But i haven't got any reliability issues with the apache yet.I think the power of the 160 4v is a little powerful for beginners.
- Apache 160 4v
- It depends on your needs bro. If you want performance go for the apache . If you want mileage and a little bit more comfort,go for the fz.
- Both are best bikes but u can go for apache 160 4v
- FZ Fi
- Yeah bro. But after riding more than 1 hour, i do get pain in my palms.
- Low downpayment low interest abs break bike
- Yes its good for daily use
- U can go for apache 160 4v it is good for long ride and now ABS is also available in it so u can take the test ride of both and consider which u like the most
- I think yamaha will be a better choice. But i recommend you to purchase a bike which has dual disc, ABS and a broad rear tire to avoid accidents.
- Apache is best in performance and price and maintenance its affordable
- 160 NS in performance, sound, built quality and apache 160 4v in speed
- In price pulsar 160 and in performance apache 160 4V
- Yes bro you r absolutely right .I m also 6'2' and this is the super bike for tall guys .as us ..
- Hello bro I am 6.2 feet in height and little bulk, will TVS Apache RTR 160 4V set for me, or what are the bikes will set for me, please help me
- Hello bro I am 6.2 feet in height and little bulk, will TVS Apache RTR 160 4V be set for me, or what are the bikes will set for me, please help me
- RTR 160 4V for sure. Better mileage and better performance.
- As per your condition pulsar 150 is better
- Pulsar 160 NS
- No brother.. don't buy this bike... its waste of money. i got service issues under 3 months. Self Starter systemsl is worst.
- No just buy a pulsar its better for uh
- Apache is better at all
- Bhai Speed Mein Apache 160 4v and Pulsar 160 have better sound and build quality, performance !!
- Ns 160 is better but if need abs and more power then the apache 160 4v is good.
- It depends on which bike u r going for, check users manual, keep in mind the rpm matters . 40-55 is what I understood is best for 160 4v till 2nd service and not till 1st.
- 250
- Wow! thats amazing
- Not at all...i travel about 120 km per day and i feel like im sitting on my sofa in compared to other bikes
- Personal experience with long drive is good no back pain rode max 200km one side but it still should have 6th gear. Havent felt any aches or pain on the back maybe becoz of comfortable seat.
- Back pain is the concern in apache RTR 4v.i am now not able to ride bike after riding for one year due to severe back pain
- No go for carb version as its maintenance cost is low even u run out of fuel cab doesnot gets hampered but fi is just oppsite
- See amit it depends on you and your driving style...agar tum 50-65kmph ke aas paas chalate ho to apache will give you around 43 kmpl on highways! And this is also true if you look on paper specifications! No doubt go for apache 160 4v fi
- Go for tvs apache mileage and performance acceleration is just racing throttle
- Yamaha fz s fi v3 is good in mileage
- There is a key hole on the back of your bike just below the tail lamp...insert the key and twist it clockwise direction and while twisting it just lift the seat and untie the seat cover thread!!
- MY 4V BIKE SEAT GET LOCKED,KEY DOESNT WORK,I TRIED A LOT,AND MECHANIC ALSO TRIED,BUT FAILED,WHAT CAN I DO
- Bhaii I am also pacing same problem what can I do..
- 2004v is certainly better...and if you can add some more cash..you can actually have the 2004v race edition 2.0 with slipper clutch...but if you are a milage centric guy..i must tell you that it can provide only about 36 or 37 kmpl in city riding
- You can go for the 200 4v but for daily commuting you should go for the 160 4v as it will provide you with better mileage and in city you cannot run at high speeds so there is no point on wasting money firstly on the bike and then on fuel
- 200 4v is very good bike but it not good for daily riding in traffic so it is better to u have go for 160 4v
- Y bro....Wht happened.. I am going to buy that bike
- Y bro ..wht happened I am going to buy this bike
- Pickup-10/10look -10/10comfatable-10/10milage- 10/8breack-10/10 (Disk)it is monster I love 160 4v
- All of the panels are made of fibre
- Fibre Tank
- The upper stylish fuel tank cover is made of fiber.
- Yes with precosion
- Yes
- Lene ka to kya btau m aapko meine li thi dhanteras pr .10 din ke bad hi engine se aavaj aani lgi .start hoti h jb eicher tractor jaisi aavaj aati h.agency me saman bhi nhi milta.1 mahine khadi rakhi fir bhi thik nhi hoi
- Self Starter problem starts after 3/4 months and i also face handling problems
- You can go for it nice bikein its segment
- The turning angles of bike are a let down..but handling is perfecy
- Engine is superb but other parts are not so good
- No u will get disappointed with this machine
- No
- I'm Also 5'8" no problem till date, milage is 45+ kmpl, For pillion comfort and all have test ride
- 5.8 ok ur choice is good excellent performance 160 4v fully satisfied
- Thanks
- It is made for 5.10 feet person. But you can go for it if you are abel to drive it.
- Yes may be depending on your experience
- No
- Mileage is better in fz it comes upto 55 kmpl and has a very stable control where as Apache is not worth for ita price ... In today's time people prefer mileage over power yes fz is under power but not disappointing. So my choice will always be fz
- Both bikes are made of fibre...and in both milage and performance apache is better
- Both bike is nice it term choosing I prefer Yamaha because it gives mileage better then RTR and performance is also good. It very nice to students
- Mileage for TVS Apache 160 4V i am getting 41kmpl and for Yamaha FZ 250 i queried for mileage they told me that it will be below 40 kmpl.
- Worst bike don't buy it pls
- Dude don't buy street 180. You will look very awkward as your height is too good. Your lower part of body will be very comfortable on street as compared to Apache. But Overall I don't think it will look good since the height of bike is very short.Try something bigger like Enfield.Have a test drive of all and decide
- Now launching 2019 Bajaj pulsar 180F or New Pulsar 150 Standard it's OK for my height 6.2ft?
- My height is 180 cm. Its very comfortable for me. For you I don't think it will make a great difference. In my opinion it is better to have test drive first. Though i am very confident of the ride quality for you. You will not face problem while riding it. You will love it.
- it's not suitable for you is such bigger bike for you. You must try cursier type bikes
- Sure is. I am using for my Office purpose. It is damn good in this segment. It is powerful. I have also gone to multiple trips near by i.e 300 km. The way it cruise on highway is too good.It can go beyond 130 km/hr but don't increase the speed after 110 km/hr if you want to enjoy. Its been 9 months. The bike has covered 5000 km.
- Which is good between apache 1604v fi or Yamaha V3 .I m looking for daily commuting with good power and mileage?
- Hornet is better then this
- Yes but the handle to hold on its positioning is a quite weird
- Pillion height is above average. so it will not be comfortable for short girls or ladies
- Yes
- Sure is.
- Yes
- Anybody confused between 160and 200 should blindly go for 2004v. The performance and features like slipper clutch dual disks and engine power is no match. I am a proud owner of 2004v carb with full satisfaction. Mileage is around 35kmpl since you will want to race it all the time. engine sound is like sports bikes.
- Yh bro thats correct....if you need more features and little bit more pickup and speed...go for 200...bt you are ok with good milage and amazing pickup and speed...and low cost go for 160 4v ...am owner of 160 4v ...this bike gives a pickup of 180 machine try a test drive
- Both looks identical, with differences like 200 Race edition graphics, no kick start in 200, but almost 40cc more than its younger sibling, which means a little lower milage but more power and pickup. I think after owning 160-4v and later ridden 200 the latter is better option if u r looking for what u asked in your question.
- It will be really comfortable for you .You just have to pay for serving after your free service is exhausted.Don't think about maintenance in this age.It i just a bike. TVS and other brands have evolved a lot with time. Just ride it thinking it yours and don't ruin it.
- Around 1k is the normal servicing and it will be very comfortable for a 5ft 10' person. Still do try it out from your nearest dealer before purchase.
- It will be very comfortable and it is a very low maintenance bike......just the regular servicing will cost you around 700 which is to be done after 2500 kilometres
- Yes, it has more power and performance and features than hornet. I prefer rtr for a bachelor that's for student or newly joined worker. It doesn't suits the couple.
- Its the king of the 150cc commuter motorcycle segment
- Yes...more torque and power
- Rtr 160 4v . Before buying do take a test drive .
- Apache RTR 160 4V a good choice
- No doubt 4v is better choice
- Bike manufactured with BS6 norms will have FI mandatory. So, my question is that, if FI is not durable than how come its used and priced premium than carb.
- Yo are right but apache 160 4v carb has some issues that i faced...
- Carborator
- Really 😂 how can it reach upto 130kmph.It's top speed is 125-127kmph.Because it's just have 5gears impossible to reach upto 130kmph 😂😂
- Its top speed is 135kmh , i personally reached 129kmh
- I have take my Apache 160 4v 144 topspeed
- Both are good, but when it comes to average Apache 160 is far better
- Apache 160 4v
- Yes..you are certainly kinda similar to me..i am actually 5.9 and was skinny as hell when i bought this bike...its okay to get this bike. But dude hit some gym..it will be good for your looks when you ride that beast
- Yes absolutely
- Yes its perfect
- It has got a bigger seat height and ground clearance compared to other bikes in this segment so if you are an experienced rider height is not problem. If you are a beginner, then try some other for a testing. Any way you can get a test ride for any doubts.
- My friend is 5.3 and he doesn't have much of a problem...but i suggest you to go to a showroom near you for a test ride
- Yea its comfortable for u..But I personally suggest you to go 160 series of apache not to take 4v series
- When you get on the bike you would find no issues. But to your legs won't touch the ground completely. It becomes tough to move back and forth. If you want to alter the seat height by changing the suspension, it would be really a bad idea. Your spine will hurt and You ride the back slightly by leaning forward ( It doesn't matter in a normal drive), so if you alter the suspension levels your stomach will hurt. Unless you are confident enough get off the bike to drag it back and forth, you will find some difficulty.
- Its the same answer that i gave earlier .My height is 180 cm. Its very comfortable for me. For you I don't think it will make a great difference. It should be comfortble for you as well. In my opinion it is better to have test drive first. Though i am very confident of the ride quality for you. You will not face problem while riding it. You will love it.
- What about your both legs bro? Evenly touching the floor or somewhat?
- Yes, it will be bit uncomfortable though but if you are pro then you will manage
- Ha
- Ha
- Tv's apache rtr1604v is best bike in this 160 segment
- Tv's apache rtr1604v is best bike in this 160 segment
- Rtr160 4v with abs, which is coming so wait
- 150 with out any load on engine max 250 with few load on engine
- As per manual Max Payload is 130 Kg
- Ohk and if go for apache then apache braking system i.e. dual disc brake it is good enough to handle bike at speed of 80
- Mileage, more features , aggressive design , premium quality , new update with 4valvs .
- If you want abs then Go for hornet as it provide abs. Otherwise go for apache.
- No its better for you to go for the fzs v3
- Yes..its perfectly fine
- Yes... I am 5.7ft and it is very easy for me to handle the bike... I think it will be easy for you too...
- Obviously RTR 200 4V is better bike among these two because of reasons given below1.Styling :- RTR 160 4V is Downscaled Version of RTR 200 so looks are subjective this statement is not applicable here And if you will look in pictures RTR 160 4V will look equally good but in real life the difference is apparent in RTR 200 it looks wider and musculer and has splitted seats and gold coloured front forks which stands it out from the commuter crowd.2.Performance :- here also RTR 160 4V can't even stand a chance and there is no argument that RTR 200 4V is sportier bike and it is faster by a big margin whether it is acceleration or top speed RTR 200 will always ho faster and will give you more adrenaline rush.3.Mileage :- mileage is slightly better on RTR 160 4V but it is not a big difference, only 5 kmpl will be lesser on RTR 200 4V in normal riding condition RTR 200 4V gives a mileage of 37-40 and RTR 160 4V gives a mileage of 42-45 but if you are a hardcore rider and if you will ride your bike mostly on highways and if you will ride your bike on speeds like 100 and 110 then RTR 200 4V will give you more mileage because as a 160 cc bike it will be the top end for RTR 160 4V and as my friend told and as i have saw it on youtube milage goes down to 32-35 kmpl and for RTR 200 that speeds are normal because it is 200 cc bike and it is easier for a 200 cc engine to maintain 100 kmph constant speed and it will give normal mileage under these conditions4.handling :- Here also RTR 200 4V's Handling is better than RTR 160 4V's handling because RTR 160 4V has Wide Handlebar and RTR 200 4V has Clip on handlebar and clip on handlebars are known for their sporty handling so if you like cornering so much than RTR 200 is the perfect bike as it also offers you super stickey and grippy Pirelli tyres which are absent on RTR 160 4V5.Comfort :- here both bikes are eqaully good and you might think that RTR 200 4V has clipon handlebars so it will more aggressive and less comfortable but it is not the case because it's handlebars are raised Clip-Ons and they doesn't affect comfort and RTR 160 4V's Wide handlebars are also similar to other bikes in it's segment so both of them give you same comfort.6.Refinement and Vibrations :- if you are thinking that RTR 200 4V and RTR 160 4V are similiar to RTR 160 and RTR 180 than it is not the case both bikes are so much refined and they have very less vibrations which are present only in top end and in top end also vibes are very negligible.7.Features :- RTR 160 4V is very feature rich bike but it can't stand a chance against it's father RTR 200 4v which has more features than RTR 160 4V like Gear position indicator and better looking instrument cluster because of white backlight and it comes with slipper clutch which and it is first bike to have Slipper Clutch in it's segment and it is very rare in higher segments also and it is a very useful feature it is far better than normal clutch and both bikes have ABS on board but the ome on RTR 200 4V is Dual channel ABS so It is Functional on both the tyres front and real while RTR 160 have single channel ABS and it is only operational only on front tyre so if you will press rear brake suddenly then rear wheel will end up in locking and slipping.8.Verdict :- if you are on tight budget than RTR 160 4V makes sence but if budget is not concern and you can spend about 20 thousands more you can end up buying a better bike. Thanks
- It depends on your budget nd mileage...Both the bikes are best sellers in their segments you will get slightly better mileage in 160 Fi abs than rtr 200 fi nd you have to pay slightly lesser for 160cc...Rtr 200 has an edge over 160 in terms of ART-Slipper clutch...both the bikes are almost similar you can't get wrong with any of the two so choose according to your need nd mileage.
- If you r looking for little more power, 200 is for you but i think 200 doesnt have Kick start & i have seen people dragging the bikes without kick start option .
- If you ride with constant speed of 70-85 then you can go upto 250 - 300, i went 280 which includes 80 kms of city drive without turning of the engine 🤩
- You can do 200 km in a stretch because will feel pain in your b**t
- As you like to go no disturbances till 110kmph after it some vibration can be felt
- Apache 1604v is way better than suzuki gixxer sf and yes...its okay for tall riders too
- Suzuki gixer
- Apache which has ever lasting fun
- Yes but you should take test drive to reach expectations of your comfort
- Yes but you take test ride before booking.
- Yea definitely its suitable for you
- Yes pillion is comfortable
- Total comfortable bike .
- Very comfortable
- No bike between the two is less than one another it depends upon you which one you like the most..both are excellent bikes and if you take proper care of it surely it will serve you long..
- I will say that both bikes can give you same performance..but apache can deliver more milage
- Pulsar 160ns
- Mine its 134 on highway
- 110 km
- 116
- Apache bikes have lower riding heights and 2004v is very powerful compared to others so mileage will be between 35 to 40kmpl.
- I am not sure about this case but I will tell you to take a test ride wheather the bike suits you. I have seen people like you riding rtr 200 but still you take a
