Q. Which model of Scorpio is the best?
  • S5: It is in this variant that the Scorpio starts to make more sense. The more powerful engine, bigger wheels and more kit on-board sum up to a more meaningful package. The added safety, which is rapidly becoming a key area of attention is also addressed with two airbags and ABS. This variant is well suited for anyone who has always loved the big, brawny looks of the Scorpio, but is on a tight budget. Sure, it isn’t as feature loaded as it could be, but it does have almost all the basic features expected from a car of this size and price. S7: The S7 variant enhances the comfort and safety aspect, with a rear defogger, rear wiper with washer, anti-theft alert and the Intellipark technology which delivers visual and audio notifications while reverse parking into a slot. This variant is best suited for someone looking for an 8-seat layout, which is unavailable in the S3 and S5 variants. Moreover, at this price, the Scorpio comes with a handsome features package and comes with body-coloured panels. Moreover, the added ski rack on top of the roof comes in more than handy to transport oversized goods. S11: This S11 variant is the most feature-loaded of the lot. Apart from the additional seating configuration options, the S11 gets a 6.0-inch infotainment display, tyre pressure monitoring system, auto headlamps and wipers and a more premium upholstery inside. But, even at this price, the Scorpio misses out on features like electrically foldable ORVMs, no Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility, sunroof, automatic transmission and more airbags. If you can do without these misses, but can’t with what the S11 gets over the S7, go for it. However, the price hike is a bit too steep and we’d recommend you to go for the S7 (140PS) and get whatever you need extra from an aftermarket shop. It’ll be more affordable that way.

Q. Which variant is best in Mahindra Marazzo?
  • The MARAZZO offers an unmatched package of shark-inspired aerodynamic design, luxurious space, best-in-class ‘smoothest ride, quietest cabin & fastest cooling’ and much more. MARAZZO is offered in 4 variants: M2, M4, M6 & M8. The top model is the M8 variant that is feature packed. However, features like Dual Airbags • ABS with EBD & BA • Disc Brakes on all wheels • ISO FIX mounts for Child seat • Rear A/C with Surround cool technology • 1 touch tumble down 2nd row seat (LH side) • 7 seater with Captain Seats • Side turn indicator on ORVMs • ECO mode are offered in all variants. So depending on how much your planning to invest it would be value for money.
  • The Marazzo is available in 4 variants: M2, M4, M6 and M8. Out of which, M2 trim is best suitable for fleet operators. On the other hand, if you want this car for personal use and are on a tight budget then we would suggest you to atleast pick for M4 variant. Apart from it, if your planing to buy its M6 variant then we would suggest you to stretch your budget and opt for its M8 trim as in this trim Marazzo offers noticeable feature disparity among its lineup. And the M8 is the only one variant that gets all the bells and whistles, including several that should have been offered in the lower variants, like auto climate control and cruise control. The highlight of the M8 variant is its Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (to be added later)-enabled 7-inch touchscreen system and leatherette upholstery. The premium of Rs 1.5 lakh that Mahindra is charging for the M8 is on the higher side but it’s only the M8 variant that will make you feel that you’re driving a modern-day vehicle. Q. I am planning to buy Marazzo or Ertiga. I'll use it for long drives or vacation with my family. Which car would be comfortable for my use? My family can have knee pain if it is not comfortable. Totally confused which car should be comfortable for my family, which car can suit my needs? Please say me soon, my decision is based on your suggestion. It shouldn't bring any type of pain or discomfort.
  • Considering your points I think Marazzo will be a better option , though it will be at a higher price than ertiga. As you said, your are planning for long drives, safety features are uniform at all the marazzo variants. Third row of ertiga is horrible , even for two full grown kids. In terms of comfort, features, driveability marazzo is far better in my opinion. I tried both for 500 Kms each then decided on marazzo. Hope it will help.
  • Go for marazzo without any 2nd thought. it's a very comfortable mpv and if your family is not too big then go for captain seat varient. Seats of marazzo are very comfortable and with more knee room and overall size of marazzo is also more then ertiga or any other car in this price range. if you can spend some more money or do not have any budget issue then go for tata hexa. It is also a very comfortable suv.
  • Go to showroom and check both of them. Then take decision according to your preference. But no doubt Marrazo is more powerful, spacious, and suitable for long distance travelled.Maruti Suzuki car is for middle class. Cheap Material, low maintenance cost. Affordable for middle class...
