Himalayan is a go to bike

Himalayan is a go to bike especially in a city like mumbai. When roads similar to off -roading experience thanks to poor quality construction. The bike performs very well, Easy handling and can go where no bike can dare to go.Some cons: weak engineering.Low quality spares.Chain sprocket is very delicate.Had to change at 12k ( only city rides) chain needs lubrication regularly at 500km.This is a bit annoying. And the handle bearing. If taken care properly this can last upto 10k km.Lastly the bike is supremely underpowers.Need constant gear shift. Not recommended for a power seeker.

Engine oil

3.4

Be patient for the first 2000 kms since that is the breakin period. I would recommend you change the engine oil to Motul 5100 semi synthetic around 2000 kms, this will reduce vibrations drastically and increase your mileage. I get an average of around 35 on the highway and 25 in the city post the oil change. If you are thinking of buying for performance than please don't buy this bike since it will get you to 80 quickly and fizzle out by 100. My height is 185 cms and this bike is not comfortable for my height but it is better than any other bike in this segment. Rest everything is great.

Riding bike

4.2

Good bike!!!! Best performance in class!!!! But tik tik sounds started with in 15days!!! The sound spoils the mood of riding!!! That's the only drawback😓 After 11 months of riding bike as clocked around 6690kms only on highway!! Mileage is around 30-32kmpl(highway) and 22-25kmpl(city) I use power/premium only!!! I service my bike once 2000k kms(4months) Bill's has never crossed 2k(800-2000rs)! Even the service people could not fix the tik tik sound!! Bike performance is 💯💯💯💯 the only drawback is the sound

Touring bikes

4.2

I've been using himalayan since 3 years, But my overall review about the bike is that you will love it for sure if you've a lot of money in pocket. But to enjoy any ride It takes much fuel than any other in range of touring bikes. If you're looking for comfortable and nice performance in bikes so just go for it. You will love the himalayan for sure.
