Hi everyone !! I own

2.6

Hi everyone !! I own ns200 2017 model (non abs) .Its been 3 year now ... therefore I am the one who can give a proper review of this bike.lets talk about cons first !! Cons: 1 - vibrations !!! This bike is not at all refined u’ll feel vibrations all over the bike ... even pillion footrest vibrates along with pillion seat 😡 2 - bad gearbox!! Gears don’t properly shift , nor it comes in neutral easily and clutch is on harder side . I have seen people buying Yamaha for just gearbox... now after riding Yamaha I realised I made a mistake .3 - not a daily commuter bike - people think rs200 is for sports and ns 200 for streets.... they are wrong ..!! It’s for people who have their college or office out of city , 50-60 kms far !! This bike demands open roads and driving in the city , you will need to constantly change gear again and again which is pain in the ass !!4 - hard seats = trust me u will feel to get off this bike after 45 mins of riding5 - heating = this bike is only good to ride in open roads and in winters , even a 10 min traffic stop will cause this bike to heat , you will feel heat near thighs and feet and I think that underbelly exhaust causes more 10% heat to the bike.if you are riding at high speeds it won’t heat, but in city .... hmm6 - Weight and height = I know a lot of people will find this funny that bike is heavy but trust me it is ... if you parked somewhere lil bit inclined then you will have hard time pulling it . Royal Enfield is 190 kgs but u don’t feel it while riding , in ns 200 u will feel ... and if you are about to fall , u can’t stop cause it’s heavy and This bike is recommended for tall people. These are some of my problems I bought this bike because it looked really good !! and was worth money but trust me people buy Yamaha and Honda and Royal Enfield for a reason, it’s not just the brand name they are expensive for a reason. Take proper test ride before buying this bike and be 100% sure.

Perfect choice

4.2

It's my first bike and after riding it for nearly 4years, I'm having a very positive experience with the bike. Had some minor issues at the beginning related to the cone set, but got fixed. Changed chain sprocket after 15k km. Maintenance cost is less compared to other bikes in this segment. Talking about performance, the bike is kind of sedate at lower RPMs, because of that, we will require frequent gear changes when we are riding through city traffics. The story changes once it crosses 7k RPM, it's like a sudden burst of power once it crosses 7k RPM and will stay till around 10k. I have done some long rides/highway rides and bikes can cruise continuously between 110-115 without having much stress. We can even push it up to 120 and the engine will be staying below the redline. Comfort-wise, it's kind of average. Suspension is set on the harder side, riding posture is not that tiring, seats are hard and we will require an air seat or jell seat for comfortable long rides. Handling wise, it's an absolute gem, but I always feel like the stock tyres ( Euro grip) are not keeping up with the kind of performance which the bike has to offer, even the brakes, they don't have any bite and also not that progressive. Altogether, it's a decent package. If you are looking for a better commuter, Apache 200 will be a better option. If you are looking for a bike that is affordable, and have better performance, and high riding capability, NS will be the perfect choice in the segment

Run smooth

5.0

Motorcycles are not cell phones. They need to have durability. When someone invest more than 1.5 lacs he is expecting a motorcycle which will run smooth for at least 5 yrs without basic maintenance.I spent more than 50k to maintain my rs200 in 3.5 yrs finally with a heavy heart sold it off.Very very poor built quality of bajaj.I am really disappointed.I loved my bike so much. But for such a poor built quality i had to sell it off.

One of the best in 200 cc

One of the best in the 200 cc segment it's worth the money. With 4 years of ownership and 50k km till now didn't face any major issues the stock tire is not that good and the rim size is smaller that's hurts, sound in stock is lovely especially the screaming at higher rpm, The throttle response is not that sharp. Bajaj has to work on breaking.

Good figure

4.6

You have to take care from the very start to expect no trouble from this bike. When speeding try to drive on 50-60 for an hour, Then you can see 150 figure in no time.Sudden speeding wont get you any good figure for a stock bike. You can change normal spark plugs to iridium spark plugs if you feel power loss.

I love this bike

I've this bike for about 5 years. The power that engine delivers is best at this price range.First of it's best part that it's seating posture and the bad part is it's chain sprocket. You need to check or repair it's chain sprocket for about every 1000km or soon according to your riding style. The overall performance of this bike is superb and the mileage in city with spead breakers is about 40-42 kmpl and in highway it delivers a mileage for about 45-48 kmpl(after 3rd service). And vibration about this bike is normal not so high but after 60-70 kmph speed vibrations are less and can't be feel. After all i love this bike this is the best bike for me in this price segment.

Purhcased this Monster in

Purchased this monster in august 2014, Still amazes me with its performance. This bike gives a great riding experience, The ride height is comfortable and is also comfortable for the pillion rider.Never thought that the pillion rider would be happy as well during long drives.Pickup is great and till now, It has been 8 years since the purchase, Continuing regular maintenance and used only stock spares, I feel the same pickup and power that i had in the early days. When it comes to looks, It's really a head turner. Some corrections may have been implemented in the newer models, Like minor body vibrations and engine cowl, Etc.
