The upcoming Triumph Bonneville 400 has been spotted testing once again on Indian roads, and this time around, the latest set of spy shots reveal a lot more about what we can expect. With each sighting, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the launch is just around the corner.
From what the new images show, Triumph is making sure the baby-Bonne stays true to its legendary design philosophy. The bike carries an upright and relaxed riding posture, hinting at a comfortable, easy-going riding experience.
Interestingly, the India-spec test mule features practical additions like a saree guard and an engine guard, elements that weren’t seen on earlier international test models.

Even though some body panels are still camouflaged, the overall design direction is quite evident. The Triumph bike gets a round LED headlight, oval taillight, and circular LED indicators, giving it a neat blend of retro styling with modern lighting tech.
Other classic elements include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, a set of round mirrors, and a circular instrument console. The hardware setup, telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers further reinforce its old-school appeal.
Triumph hasn’t officially confirmed the specifications yet, but the Bonneville 400 is likely to be powered by the 349cc single-cylinder engine, as the other 349cc Triumph 400 range which was recently launched in India. That said, this motor could be similar to the one seen on the Triumph Speed T4, producing 29PS and 31Nm.

Given how frequently the bike has been spotted, the launch seems imminent, possibly within the next couple of months. The bike is expected to be priced at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom), and once it arrives, the Bonneville 400 will go head-to-head with popular retro roadsters like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and the Jawa 350.
