The Tata Nexon is one of the most popular SUVs in the Indian market. And to keep the momentum going, the Indian marque is preparing a heavy update for the vehicle. Now, the 2024 Nexon has already been papped by the automotive paparazzi many times, but each and every time the SUV has been spotted, something new is seen, which is the case this time as well.

The latest images of the 2024 Nexon surfaced online give a glimpse at the production-spec alloys, which get a snazzy star-like design with dual-tone finish. Other design touches include a familiar silhouette, Curvv-inspired fascia and connected tail lamps with Audi-like dynamic turn indicators.

On the inside, the 2024 Tata Nexon gets a revised dashboard layout featuring a Curvv-inspired two-spoke steering wheel and climate control knobs. Other highlights include a fully digital driver’s display, Land Rover-inspired gear lever (for the automatic variants) and the presence of the carmaker’s new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The 2024 Tata Nexon could be offered with the marque’s new 125PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine. And the carmaker hinted this unit could get the carmaker’s dual-clutch automatic transmission. Apart from that, the existing 1.5-litre diesel engine and electric powertrains are expected to soldier on with the Nexon.

The 2024 Tata Nexon is expected to go on sale sometime in 2024 and it could command a premium over the current model that’s priced from Rs 7.8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite and Mahindra XUV300.
