(Update: TVS has launched the Raider 125 in India. Head here to read the launch story.)
TVS Motors is all set to launch its new 125cc motorcycle tomorrow. The new motorcycle will mark TVS’s return to the 125cc commuter bike segment and will rival the likes of the Honda SP 125, Bajaj Pulsar 125 and the Hero Glamour 125.
The recently posted teasers by the Hosur-based brand have given away some interesting details about the bike. These include its sporty styling with muscular tank shrouds, a Bumblebee-like full LED headlamp and split seats.
Meanwhile, you’ll also get a colour LCD instrument cluster replete with a gear-position indicator, a rider greeting feature, service reminder, eco mode indicator, and a clock. The teasers also revealed that the bike would be offered in black, red, yellow and blue colours. There are some other details to note as well, which you can check out here.

The specs, however, remain unknown for now. But we think the new offering will be powered by a derivative of the NTorq 125’s single-cylinder engine. And as this is a motorcycle, the engine will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Considering all this, TVS’s new 125cc bike could bear a price tag of Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom), which would make it good value for the money.
