Mahindra Racing initiates Race To Malaysia contest

The 2015 MotoGP season has been an exciting affair with Valentino Rossi leading the championship with Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez in close pursuit. But like the hordes of MotoGP fans in India who have to be content by witnessing the action on television, well there’s some good news. Mahindra Racing is organising a special contest and the four lucky winners will get an opportunity to witness the MotoGP race live at Sepang in Malaysia. The Mahindra Race To Malaysia contest will be held on Mahindra Racing’s social media page. Contestants will be asked to answer five Mahindra Racing and MotoGP questions and write a short note to justify why they are the correct candidates for attending the race.  The winners will also get the chance to meet the MAPFRE Team Mahindra riders Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin and Juanfran Guevara and see the Mahindra MGP3O Moto3 race motorcycle from close quarters. The #RaceToMalaysia competition has been organised by Mahindra Racing along with Tourism Malaysia. The contest winners will also be given a tour of Kaula Lumpur by Tourism Malaysia. 

Mahindra Racing became the first Indian team to participate in the FIM MotoGP World Motorcycle Racing Championship series in 2011 and also have secured few podium finishes. It also participated in the Italian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (CIV) in 2012.  For 2015, Mahindra Racing continued its presence as a constructor in the Moto3 class of racing with its own 4-stroke, 250cc motorcycle - Mahindra MGP3O. Mahindra Racing supplies the bike to four teams with a total of nine riders on the grid.
