Hero Electric has announced its unique multibrand service for customers of electric bikes of all makes, following the closure of dealers of other competitive electric bikes.
This, Hero Electric says, will benefit servicing issues in electric bikes, primarily for customers of brands which have ceased their business in India.
Hero Electric is also organizing training camps for local two wheeler mechanics to help them adapt to the new age requirements of e-bike servicing. The company aims to prepare 5000 such mechanics across India during the current financial year.
"As being the Market leader, our aim is to first create a dynamic market place for e-bikes. This can be achieved by understanding and working towards the need of users of e-bikes, identifying the technological shortcomings and the hindrances that obstruct the masses from keeping faith in these environment friendly bikes. Following these guidelines, this is an endeavour by Hero Electric to revive and reshape the market,"said Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric.
Hero Electric Bikes also offers what it calls "the Doorstep Service" facility to retail customers and customized service offerings for institutional customers.
According to the company, technological differentiators give an edge to Hero Electric bikes in the e-two wheeler segment, including best in class technology like High MagFlux and High Ingress Inertia motors with special weather proof coating and fire proof wiring harness.
Hero Electric bikes have sealed maintenance-free batteries specially designed for harsh temperatures in India with lowest impurities in lead metal for higher performance and lowest toxic emissions during battery recycling. As part of the next step in technological innovation, Hero Electric plans to introduce regenerative brake to increase range by re-directing energy developed during braking to charge batteries.
