The Western Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) kicked off their first zonal rally of 2017 last weekend by making way into the Aamby Valley, Lonavala. The sixth edition of the Western H.O.G rally was spread across April 7-9 and saw 700 riders, from all over the country, even as far away as Dehradun, New Delhi and Guwahati, participating in it. The weekend-long event saw various activities including customisation competitions, music performances and adventure sports like rock climbing.

Led by Seven Islands Harley-Davidson Chapter, Mumbai, the sixth W.H.R also saw participation from other Harley-Davidson Chapters like Foothills Harley-Davidson (Dehradun), Red Fort Harley-Davidson (New Delhi) and Brahmaputra Harley-Davidson (Guwahati). Apart from organising such events, the Seven Islands Chapter has also pioneered a number of social causes and had won ‘Chapter of the Year’ at the recently held fifth India H.O.G. Rally in February 2017.
A big attraction of the event was the Custom Contest which saw participation from 11 riders. Anindya Dey Sarker from Seven Islands Harley-Davidson Chapter emerged the winner of this contest for having customised his Street 750 in a unique way.

Speaking about the 6th Western H.O.G. Rally, Sreedhar Raju, chapter director, Seven Islands Harley-Davidson Chapter, Harley-Davidson India, said, “Annual H.O.G. rallies are a great opportunity to get quality face time with our brothers from across the country. We are glad that the 6th Western H.O.G. Rally helped the Harley riders create some memorable moments while indulging in the adventure sports and fun games, exploring the open roads, sharing riding stories and bringing the H.O.G. brotherhood closer. After five successful editions, the 6th W.H.R brought together the biggest offline community in India.”
